No, Glennie the Teabaggers are not in the center. They are pretty far to the right. Some of them are frail, a lot of them are older, most of them are really white, and overwhelmingly Protestant. Some of them are young and lots of them, of all ages have guns and are demanding that people try to take them away. Most of them don't bother me, but a few of them are very scary, angry, hateful people who have been fed a steady diet of misinformation and confirming hatred by you and other Foxterds and Foxtarts. Those people are scary and when they start talking about revolutions, I get worried.

Yes, anyone who believes in limited government, lower taxes, freedom, the constitution and doesn't have a shrine to Obama is a right wing extremeist.

Nice try, but their demands are more extreme than you portray them.

No, they aren't, because there's no such thing as an "extremeist". You know who's a right-wing extremist? People who murder doctors while they attend church, anti-Semitic freepers who murder security guards, and idiot white supremacist Beck fanboys who shoot cops because they fear for their phallus-extending guns, and unemployed rednecks who (again) walk into churches looking for blood. So if you're going to join the chorus of "YEAH, ah's a right-wing extremist and ah's PROUD of it, y'all!", you're leaping into bed with all the above pieces of garbage. Enjoy it.

I do not have a shrine to Obama. I do not consider Obama the Messiah. I believe in the Constitution, which is more than many of the Teabaggers can say. They LOVE invoking the Constitution like some magic spell, until someone, like the Obama Administration, tries to appy the law to people they don't like, then they never heard of the Constitution. And I just love how they love the part where it says that the U.S. is a Christian nation! The Teabaggers are only a limited government, lower taxes and that sacred spell "Freedom" because they don't really know what they are asking for. They hate deficits but don't want to pay higher taxes. They don't want to pay higher taxes, but they don't want to give up any government services, either. I went to the 9/12 Rally. There were about 60,000 people there, most of them didn't understand how 30 years of Reaganomics had created the deficits that they were worried about. They supported the troops, they love Jesus, they love their guns and dared people to take them away, they loved the Founding Fathers and some wore breeches and tri-corns, they waved American and Gadsden flags that were made in China, they hated the United Nations and the Trilateral Commission, they wondered who John Galt was, they feared death panel, and they hated Socialism/Nazis/Fascists/Liberals/Democrats and Obama. And I'm sorry, but the 3%ers, Birthers, and Oath Keepers are fringies, and potentially dangerous fringies.

I have not seen the political program of the Tea Party Movement - and neither have you! So we can only label them based on what we have seen and heard from their followers, speakers and leaders. We can therefore conclude that Epkklk851's description is spot on. Maybe you are right too - I have never heard of 'extremeist'. Your description seems to fit what we call fiscal conservatives. Are they the same?

limited government - Obama has stated to curb the excesses of the Bush administration. He's started cutting back on unneeded defense spending (F-22's, Comanches, etc), he's backing PAYGO - you know, where Congress actually has to have the money before it can spend it?, he wants to get rid of the Bush tax cuts (funny how when conservatives whine about limited government, they never brig up government stepping in and making the rich richer), etc.

Lower taxes - Obama has lowered taxes for 95% of Americans. It's a fact. Deal with it. And repealing the Bush tax cuts will only affect the richest 1% or so...and, no, statistically, you are not one of them.

Freedom - Well you obviously have the freedom to post mind numbingly ignorant posts online with no fear of recrimination.

Constitution - Obama is applying the Constitution as he is supposed to. It's the right wing nuts that are protesting the fact that Obama is actually following the letter of the Constitution, such as not torturing people, following due process, etc (and yes, the Constitution does extend it's protections to EVERYBODY in the United States, not just American citizens - that's the part that really burns conservatives).

Shrine to Obama - The only shrines to Obama are the ones built by right wing conservatives trying fling bad joojoo at him. The rest of us look at his policies and are neither shy about celebrating what we think is right nor criticizing Obama when we think he's wrong. It's only the right runs in only one gear.

So, if you are blind to all this, then yes, you are right wing extremeist.

Huh? I mean, you're using better spelling and grammar today and you still don't make any sense. I know lots of folks who don't have "shrines to Obama", believe in limited government, lower taxes, freedom, the Constitution who are died in the wool Democrats.

I'm willing to bet the White House has been a tad too busy with the whole Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar situation to even care.

I think so, too -- only four words and none very big; less likelihood of misspelling.

          Not that they wouldn't try:

It's not a movement. A movement is a group of people with a purpose, unity (as evidenced by their slogans and signs), and a cause that can unite the rest of the country behind them. Tea baggers are a motley crew of angry white people who complain about a lot of things that the government is rightly doing. They are not unified; their purpose is to bring down a duly elected government by appealing to the vaguest of issues or no issues at all. They are unable to admit that they are intolerant and have much of their anger coming from an economic situation over which they have no control and that they feel powerless.

I'm not sure if this is a public link, or if it's only accessible to those with Facebook accounts, but it's a rare one I like of the annoying fan groups, and should be fun for the Ratings Queens.

Can this poodle wearing a tinfoil hat get more fans than Glenn Beck?

Thanks for the shout out; I'm the creator/admin of the page. It's been a study in memetics, that's for sure. I started the page on 2/8, and the growth has been exponential. We're approaching 200K fans in 10 days. The largest Beck fan page is at around 660K, and has been in existence for about 8 months.

          We're poised to go viral.

No prob, good luck, I've forwarded it to quite a few people. Should be a cakewalk, and establish the poodle as more serious than Beck to all of his fans who believe ratings = credibility.
