        I knew they would do a 180 on that once Obama took office. However, cynical as I am, I never dreamed their rhetoric would become so shrill so quickly.

          I feel the same way. I thought I was imagining the worst case back then but what is happening now is much worse than the worst case I imagined.

          What scares me now is imagining how much worse it can still get. When they start using the rhetoric of war in debating political matters, it's time to take notice.

          If history has taught us anything, it's that people like this, in the right conditions, can very quickly gain power and popular support. If such a "revolutionary war" were to break out, who would you take up arms against, your government or the very revolutionaries who have a very different idea of how society should operate?

          In many ways, fascism is a prerequisite for such the "utopia" that Hannity, Beck, et.al. have in mind for us. I don't buy their "small unobtrusive government" rhetoric for a second. They only mean that for people who think exactly like them.

      Another book that will hit the "bargain books" rack at our local Hastings and Books-a-Million within weeks of its release. Nobody buys these books in my city. They gather dust on the shelves.

          It also helps that the NYT Book Reviewer is a Republican and is open to large bribes to put this carp at the top of the Best Seller list.

          He should do both at the same time. He should go on The Daily Show and get water boarded. He could create a "water boarding booth" akin to the dunking booths they have at carnivals. People could pay money to throw a baseball at a target which would release water to pour on his rag covered mouth. I know I'd be willing to pay to help Sean prove how innocuous water boarding really is.

        There is a guy here in St. Louis the goes to every library in the St. Louis County Library system at least three times a week. His mission? Buy up all of the used books for sale by Coulter, Hannity, Savage, O"Reilly, Beck and all of the other books written by the Radical Right. His reason: He does not read them. He takes them home and burns them in his fireplace. He says that he "doesn't want this crap available to contaminate peoples minds anymore." He will have a HUGH bonfire with this one. I asked people at Barnes & Noble, Books A Million and Borders if the books by the Radical Republican Lunatics sell and they all said the same thing. The sell very few copies.

        What the hell could be in a book from an idiot who basically screeches the same tired buzz words and talking points day after day ? And how does Sean convey in writing that breathless , panicky tone that he seems most comfortable with, is the book in ALL CAPS ????? WITH LOTSA EXTRA PUNCTUATION??? !!!!! COLORED FONT ???!!!

      In my opinion, I am not really certain that people like Hannity really write their own books. I think that they are ghost written by RNC hacks and the name of Hannity or whom ever with their picture is put on the cover. Beck and Hannity certainly do not write their own books, as they haven't the education or intelligence to put to coherent sentences together.

      First Rush and Hannity have committed treason. Declaring war on the United States by a citizen is treason and by declaring war on the president that is what they are doing. Arrest these men and put them in supper max for life without release and take everything they own away from them by a trial.

      Yeah Sean, Your book is going directly to paperback because you want everyone to be able to afford it... And movies go straight to dvd, not because they suck but because they want it to be available for people to watch right away at home...Sean say whatever you want if it makes you feel better about yourself.
