From Gingrich's February 20 CPAC address:

I can just imagine the audience. "Oh, the left are SOCIALISTS, who want to DESTROY America? Wow, that's news to me. I didn't see hear that a dozen times on.... Wednesday."
You'd think we'd have gotten destroying America right by now.
I mean, according to the right, we control the media, the education system and Hollywood.
Seriously, this is extremely dangerous: if one claims that Obama, Reid, Democrats, liberals, etc., are deliberately trying to destroy the United States, one tacitly supports and endorses an assassination attempt. It seems increasingly likely that someone is going to be killed from all this.
I know that Tea Partiers are predominantly peaceful and well-intentioned, and I don't say this to demonize conservatives. However, by completely ignoring the violent, racist fringe that disproportionately makes up the vocal right-wing in this country, CPAC leaders are ignoring what could be catastrophic instability - and probably several murders. I'm grateful for the few that have spoken out (Goldberg, O'Reilly), but the majority are encouraging violent, hateful, anti-American rhetoric. This has to stop.
MESSAGE FAIL
It's like they don't really have confidence its staying power, as if they don't really believe in it, huh?
And the Oligarchy fans clap!
SMH!
He is a nihilist... not religiously but in the terms of organized society. The logical end to this is anarchy...the survival of the fitest in some sort of police state, theocracy where the churches and the military industrial complex are in total control.
Cracks me up that evangelical Christians have aligned themselves with folks like Limbaugh, Armey, Gingrich, Beck, et al. These folks, if they were part of the body in which these evangelical Christians worshipped, would be shunned for their many divorces and their lack of living within the precepts of the Bible [acquiring earthly wealth, bearing false witness, coveting their neighbor's property, etc.] It's not "conservatism," it is Right Wing Authoritarianism.
Matthew 5:17 - Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
Is that what our forefathers wanted?
