Limbaugh's health care plan: "If you don't have any teeth, so what? What's applesauce for?"

LIMBAUGH: You know I'm getting so many people, this Louise Slaughter comment on the dentures? I'm getting so many people, this is big, I mean, that gets a one-time mention for a laugh, but there are people out there that think this is huge because it's so stupid. I mean for example, well what's wrong with using a dead person's teeth? Aren't the Democrats big into recycling? Save the planet? And so what? So if you don't have any teeth, so what? What's applesauce for? Isn't that why they make applesauce?

Media Matters President Eric Burns responds to Limbaugh's remarks:

"Rush Limbaugh's comments illustrate a clear lack of compassion for Americans who cannot afford health insurance," said Eric Burns, President of Media Matters for America. "Health care reform is not a laughing matter for those that attended today's summit nor is it for the millions of people in this country that are uninsured and underinsured. With the one of the leading conservative voices prescribing applesauce as a substitute for insurance, it is no small wonder health care reform legislation remains stalled."

      I guess this shouldn't come as a surprise, not after the GOP decided that domestic battery was comedy gold. I'll say again, Ted Bundy was the last Republican with the courage of his convictions.

        "If someone doesn't have working knees, why is it my responsibility to buy them for him [sic]? (fixed) Buy your own damn knees."

        What's wrong with a bit of compassion? Do you EVEN know what a good set of dentures costs? Or a trip to a dentist to have teeth fixed? For those of us with half dental, it's still expensive ... how about for those who don't have the coverage? Do you have a clue how painful an absessed tooth is? Do you know how dangerous those absesses can become? That they can lead to terrible infections which can lead to strokes, heart attacks, and even death?

        lets hope fools like this, become sick, then have the sh#t that "insurance" co. pull. B.J.fan will never understand the misfortunate Americans who have no "insurance", until it happens to you. And B.J. it will happen. The barbarack system now being "enjoyed" by the U.S. citizens,is in one word crap. Isn't interesting America stands alone, being the only industrial country without universal h.c.

      I almost feel bad saying that because I don't wish such things on anyone; but Limpballs is seriously testing my compassion.

      Rush is so smug, today he called out the "seminar callers" from OFA, ON OPEN LINE FRIDAY, and then promptly screened them out through his crack team of cronies DBA "Bo 'I'm not real' Snerdly". He then went ahead to say they weren't calling.
