Hitler and Mussolini made sure to eliminate the liberals and progressives in the politics of their countries.

Stalin was hardly a progressive -- the government of the USSR was communist in name only. In fact, it was an oligarchy just like it had been under the Tsars. The only difference was that the royal family was supplanted by political agitators, and later by party apparatchiks.

At least he isn't comparing them to the President.

If Obama really is Hitler or Stalin, it's getting a little late in the day for him to round up the brave and virtuous opponents to his regime. I don't recall any loud opponents of either Hitler or Stalin being allowed to make millions on the airwaves while bashing them.

Expect more attacks on Van Jones . . . Beck blames Jones for his loss of advertisers because the group Jones helped create but has NOT been associated with for three years, Color of Change, started the advertiser boycott. It has been reported that Beck's show in the UK, carried on Fox's sister network, Sky News, has been airing with NO corporate sponsors for over 2 weeks. He is also being slammed by other folks in the hate talk radio biz for his incoherent rants. Beck's scared he's going to get the ax from Fox like he did from HLN.

He's not going down without smearing anybody and everybody. The man is nuts.

Did anyone listen to his revisionist form of the Nolan Chart? (Which was never created by Nolan actually just popularized by him.) He fails to say that bottom left side is a measure of PERSONAL freedom and the bottom right is Economic freedom. I'm actually highly cheezed he drew it as a diamond. It's not a diamond it's supposed to be two axis as in X and Y but I guess Elitists that go to college (or finish high school) are the only ones that understand this.

Seriously any time you try to make a representation of politics in such a 2 dimensional form is overly simplified. Everywhere you go it's a mixed economy. Whatever an organization (or goverment or society or municipality or whatever) decides to use to handle an aspect of it's function varies and usually says little about the organization politically.

This is just an attempt (amongst many) to demonize a persons beliefs in a free society, the irony does not escape me.

Hitler, Stalin, and Mussolini were all dictators who oppressed their own people, and others who disagreed with their ideologies. They used government influience as a shield to push their own real agendas. They believed in an elite oligarchy (a few), not a majority. Progressives were and is regular common people who believe in changes that benefits all people who are oppresed. Everything you do in life to make yourself and your family better is being progressive. Why not do it for a mass population? Oh I know it is all about the elite! Screw everyone else!

I think I saw this on Face Book... wow his analysis of the quadrants and what they believe is stunning, I can't think of words to describe it. I think Beck needs to hug a tree... Maybe he didn't get enough love from the local tree growing up which has made him hate them so. I bet he fell out of one when climbing one day and broke an arm.

There's nothing to talk about here. What proof does he have that progressives changed the meaning of Liberal. You cannot starting trying to discuss language because it evolves. Even though that would make language a bad thing to Beck it's the truth. American's progressed from "colour" to "color". This whole clip just goes to show he is pandering to the lowest of IQs. People who need to be told what to do and how they can and cannot be free. I hope Media Matter can put together videos showing that the right wing does not care about American people and that they think American people are stupid. Pointing out misinformation and lies is just not enough most people still need help to understand that they are being mocked. I'm trying but there is just too much material to go through and to find. I would like to leave no stone unturned.
