I wonder exactly what it is that qualifies a person as a supposed "Democratic Strategist", or that prompts them to call themselves that?
Seriously, it's a real and valid question.
The only thing I can come with, for listing "Democratic Strategist" on your resume (or putting it after or beneath your name) is that you were (or are) employed by the Democratic party, as a strategist.
And what the heck could that possibly be or mean?
Something calling itself the "Democratic party" employs "strategists"?
The thing I generally acknowledge as being the Democratic party, seems to have no central or general strategy at all, but is instead a loose alliance of politicians who call themselves Democrats, but otherwise do and say whatever they like, and fly by the seat of their pants most of the time (versus thinking out and following a plan).
Anyway, I think it's a valid question, I thought it was strange that the supposed "Democratic Strategist" in the video clip said "not all of them", when she should have said "you're a liar sean, that's not what Senate Democrats objected to back in 2005, that's not what the Republican-named 'nuclear option' was back then, it wasn't the Budget Reconciliation process Senate Democrats are objecting in the videos you are showing!"
"And don't you do work for the Republican National Committee sean? Aren't you a Republican Strategist or Tactician sean you liar?"
I don't think being uninformed or confused or even stupid, is very strategic.
It was back on Hannity and Colmes, during the Michael Newdow Pledge of Allegiance issue. Hannity kept claiming that the Constitution referred to the "establishment of a religion," which meant that "under God" was OK.
But Holmes corrected him on this, correctly pointing out that the clause was "establishment of religion," which is much more comprehensive a ban. So after awhile Hannity starts to correctly cite this important clause.
But within two weeks, he reverted back to his original misframing, the "establishment of a religion" citation! What this proved is that the guy knew what was right, and had even corrected himself, but then deliberately started to misinform people again when it became convenient for him to do so.
MMFA/TPM war.
Seriously young lady, you can get yourself a better gig.
I really wish this "Democratic Strategist" would have mentioned this, but then again, FNC doesn't allow people guests to tell the truth on FNC programs. If a guest tries to, they cut the guest of and go to commercial break (likely resulting in the guest getting chastised for it).
I know that's often been cited before, but it's always relevant when discussing a Fux distort.
Do these things have to do with the budget?
Health Care-YES
Confirmations-NO
Of the uneducated trio (Beck, Hannity, Limbaugh), I have always considered Hannity the most obvious liar. Beck is just stupid, and Limbaugh is just scum.
