Hats off to CNN for growing a pair, and pointing out the hypocrisy of railing against a 'device' that the Republicans themselves have used. And, not only used, but used more often than the Democrats by almost a three to one margin. At least one person in the media still has a little credibility.

Mr. McConnell, you sir are a disgrace. It would be different if you were not a senator, but for you to act in this fashion, and tell snivelling lies, brings disgrace upon the august body you are fortunate to be a part of. I hope that your collar fits you well, for you have been bought and sold by your corporate masters. As soon as they realize how ineffectual you are, you will be callously disposed of. Enjoy your last few moments of importance. Savor this last taste having a say in how our country is run. It's nearly over for you.

Crowley's simple statement and infographic needs to be repeated ad nauseam until these fools clam up.

The look on McConnell's face is priceless. Maybe he forgot he wasn't on Fox.

She slapped him down, exposed his lying and then said "Beyond that what...." What a way to make a point. Excellent move.

Now the Cons can start screaming Liberal Bias.

        Exactly what I was thinking.

"Other" networks: Well, we'll leave it at that. Good luck with fighting the democrats on this undemocratic procedure. Next up, I'll be asking a democratic Senator why he hates America.

Beyond Crowley's nice take-down of McConnell, did anyone catch his "Senate parliamentarian" argument? Sure, if Frumin allows an HCR amendment bill to be passed via reconciliation, he will have effectively decided the course of health care in the US. However, the same is true if he decides not to allow HCR to go via reconciliation - unless the House agrees to vote for the Senate bill. Regardless, it's a pretty stupid argument that McConnell is making - it's sort of like saying that a police officer makes the difference between being guilty or innocent.

Right. The argument is as logically empty as counting the pages in a bill and judging it on that basis, rather than what's in it.

The GOP have put themselves in a box of bricks... as the President said they would. They are going to lose this one because they have repeated the scurrilous lies of the fringe, and failed to propose a better plan. They have also consistently resisted compromise and pandered to the gallery. Now as their ship goes down, they are clutching at straws.

I submit the foregoing for the mixed metaphor mishmash of the month.

If Crowley keeps this up I might just have to tune in and watch her!!! Can't stand that Cambell Brown though. She's an amateur because her conservatism shows through. Best of luck Cambell on your husband's possible run!!!

Crowley is really the only person left on CNN that still tries to keep it real. David Gergen is a distant second but he tends to pu$$y out quite a bit these days.

IMO, the best question Crowley asked was,"...getting beyond that, what can you do?" Old Mitch is not used to proferring solutions, only criticism. I think this question further highlights the fact that the republicans have decided to deliberately let the insurance companies eat the American people whole, and d@mn the consequences.

I'm really tired of their talking point, most americans don't want this bill or govt run healthcare. Even when confronted with the fact that they have led the PR battle successfully, by any means necessary, they still continue to claim to speak for the American Public. It's a bold faced lie! Has Mcconnell met the ppl in his state? Education and healthcare reform is badly needed in KY

There's very few reporters nowadays that think it's their duty to present the facts.

I really wish FSTV and LinkTV (and Colours, too, for good measure) were more widely available to people not subscribed to Dish or DirecTV, but of course there would be great resistance by Comcast/Charter cable systems to any demands to add those channels.

Comcast is a growing monster that must be stopped before it completely takes over the cable industry. They want to be the Clear Channel of the tv industry.

Totally true. This, like the Jon Stewart/Jim Cramer interview, should not be anomalous, or a Pulitzer Prize winner. This is something they should all be doing, all the time.
