Nonsense. Radical Muslims want to take the world back to the 7th Century - they're barckwards. The Radical Left are "Progressives." Progressives want to, yes, progress, and in move forward into the future.

These two groups aren't "natural blood brothers," because their whole outlook on life are opposite each others. And the American radical Left has no desire to "destroy America." I don't always agree with them, but at least I know that is true.

And you believe whatever Glenn Beck says? Because he has no clue what he is talking about most of the time.

Remember when he said that Van Jones was a convicted felon who spent six months in prison? Yeah, both of those things were outright lies. Two among thousands.

If Glenn Beck said that 2 plus 2 equals 5, would you believe that as well, Bobby Jindal fan?

He his wracking up unsustainable debt. Our current debt to GDP ratio is 84%. No nation has ever recovered from a number greater than 70. Under GWB, the number never rose higher than 65. We are heading into an economic death spiral.

GWB was an irresponsible profilagate spender, and he was dead wrong. However, BHO is bringing this to a whole new level. In his first eighteen months he will amass more debt that GWB's irresponsible spending did in eight years.

Think of it as speeding. GWB was doing 80 in a 55 and was dead wrong to do so. BHO on the other hand is doing 200 - it is a matter of degree.

We will never be able to pay off this debt. Our currency will crash and we will have Weimar level inflation. Amidst this, he proposes a brand new $2 trillion entitlement program - it just blows my mind. He flushed $787 billion (which became $862 billion) - NOT COUNTING INTEREST. This is generational theft. It is immoral to put this on future generations.

These bills will come due. How will he pay them? I believe he is doing this intentionally. I do not believe he is incompetent as much as I believe he is malfeasant. His policies are attacking the dollar. Why else would he sign an agreement at the G20 in London allowing the IMF to draw alternative currencies from his infamous "baskets"? If you can explain this, I would love to hear it. The only explanation that makes any sense to me is that he is targeting the dollar.

If the dollar collapses (which it eventually will with this level of debt), BHO can rebuild the economy in his socialist model. In my opinion, that is the plan all along. As Rahm Emmanuel said, why let a crisis go to waste? He is exacerbating the situation. I think BHO has always had a chip on his shoulder toward this country , and now has the power to act upon it.

So, among many other things, you fail to understand basic economic theory, Bobby Jindal fan.

When the economy is shrinking instead of growing, and nobody is buying and nobody is hiring, government is responsible to get the ball rolling again. You do that by spending, by building your infrastructure. I have small kids in school, and we could use some new schools. I have relatives who teach public school, and they say the same. It is a nationwide problem, much like roads, bridges, rail lines, etc. etc. So, the government puts people to work building that stuff.

In turn, those jobs create other jobs, whether it be support jobs, such as the retail sector, or ancillary jobs such as supplying the concrete and other raw materials to do the building. Those jobs, in turn, will create still further jobs as employers hire to keep up with demand. This raises revenue, and gets the economy growing again rather than shrinking. With a larger economy, you can collect fewer taxes per person, and still have more taxes collected in sum overall. This is stuff we need to build anyway. Most of it is stuff that Reagan should've built, but he was too busy blowing his wad on things like the Star Wars Missile Defense System. Brilliant. That produced almost no jobs, but a good many millionaires.

What we really need to grow, in this country, is the middle class. That's where most taxes get paid, and that's where most jobs are created, and that's what grows the economy. The Republicans have always hated the middle class. They claim they don't, but they act like they do. They give tax cuts to the wealthy, passing that burden to the middle class. They make it ever more simple to ship middle class jobs overseas, because it is to the wealthy that they truly pander.

George W. Bush was an epic failure as a President. Yet, you seem to be advocating the very same economic policies that got us into this mess: less regulation, lowering the taxes on the top 5%. Didn't work before. Why do you think it will suddenly work now?

That is the economic theory of John Maynard Keynes. I fully understand it - I reject it. Because I reject a theory does not mean I fail to understand it. I fully understand Marxism and I reject it. Keynesian is the weak sister to Marxism.

You obviously are a Keynesian - you just briefly summarized it. I would ask you to point to one historical example in which Keynesian principles have lead us out of a recession.

Please do not tell me that the New Deal ended the Great Depression. You know it was WW2. It you claim otherwise, I will bury you in an avalanche of historical and economic evidence to the contrary.

I am not advocating GWB's policies - I am advocating capitalism, or the next best thing....Reaganomics. GWB believed in crony capitalism - not market capitalism. Obviously GWB was a better choice than both Gore and Kerry, but that is a fairly low bar.

BTW, it is not possible to "give" a tax cut. Taking away less is not "giving" me anything. It is my money - it is not the government's, ergo it can not "give" me anything.

If I seize your wallet and remove a $20 bill and then return $10 to you, am I GIVING you $10. I am TAKING $10 less than I otherwise would.

No government has ever GIVEN a tax cut - it has only TAKEN less than it otherwise would have.

That's right, FDR turned what should have been a short recession into a decade long depression. The recovery came after the war. The big benefit to the new deal is that it helped people to look to the government for their every need. It was quite empowering to our masters.
That awful Reagan helped create a lot of millionaires - I'm sure none of those millionaires bought things, built businesses or hired people: They hid their dirty money in their mattress and papered the walls with it. It is well known that wealth causes poverty, just as trees cause forest fires!
It's time to banish the evil rich and their dirty money forever. Then we will have a true People's Republic where all will be equal and where we can attain a living standard comparable to Cuba.

Surely if President Obama had serious plans to "destroy America" he could have accomplished it in 13 months' time being that he is the most powerful man on earth. What you are implying in your comment is that those of us who voted for then Senator Obama don't love our country simply because we have a different perspective on what the purpose of our government should be. This is a very weak, false, and short-sighted argument. The last sentence in your post is a dead giveaway, and I'm calling you on it. I'm an older AA, and I know exactly what you're trying to say with the "disclaimer" sentence that ends your post: An AA doesn't have the qualifications to be POTUS in your opinion because he is AA.

The US has never been a completely capitalist country. We have always been a mixed economy. True free market capitalism has never been tried. If we simply practiced PURE capitalism, it would work.

Technically, in the political spectrum as in the color spectrum, the real shape is a wheel and the extreme ends bleed into each other. The radical Muslims however what to control everything and everyone, forcing them to live under an extreme interpretation of Sharia. Radicals on the Left prefer to let anyone do what they want, forcing a lack of control onto everything thing and everyone. This devotion to an extreme interpretation of freedom and tolerance would allow them to defend radical Muslims on principle. Again, be careful Mikey, history isn't in your favor here. Many of the lawyers for the early Civil Rights movement were Jews, these same Jews were often criticised by Blacks and Whites. Some Blacks resented their presence, because they wanted Blacks helping other Blacks, and Whites viewed them as betraying their race. I think Radical Muslims should have as much right as anyone to speak, and if they are stopped, then they are entitled to legal redress. However, I am ambivalent about disrupting a public speaker. That is unfair to the speaker and the people in the audience. It is better to protest outside, but allow the speech to continue.

I'm talking about people out on the fringes of the Left. The angry anarchists and the bomb throwers. There really is very little difference between the extreme left and the extreme right. Just like there isn't much difference between a Christian Fundamentalist who wants everyone to pray to Jesus as he does and to live as he does, and who feels that the world is against him because the rest of us don't want to live that way and a Muslim who wants to impose a strict form of Sharia on the rest of us. The only difference is the form their imposition would take. Shouting down a publc speaker is stopping them from exercising free speech, most of these protesters would keep on shouting all the way to jail and maybe into court if their free speech was stiffled.

What the hell does "radical left" even MEAN in an American Context? There IS NO "radical left." Che Guevara is radical left. Moa Tse Tung is radical left. Lennin and Trotsky were radical left. There's simply nothing and no one in America who's like that. Nobody. The "radical left" is somethint the Radical RIGHT just made up to make theselves look more resonable.

The problem is that they've pulled the perception of the Center so far to the right, much farther than is treally is, that Liberals are basicaly the True Center and Center Left, the RINO's and disaffected / disillusioned Republicans are the Right-Center and the Right IS the radical right. And there's just no equivalent to these clowns on the FAR left. America doesn't really HAVE a Far-Left, and never really has.

But they can't win a logical, reasonable argument so they have to paint the Center/Center-Left as if it's somekind of Radical Fringe Element. Nope, sorry, it's not our problem that the Fringe Elements have taken over the RIGHT. Just because you got nut-jobs in your camp doesn't mean WE do. (Well, we might, but we don't give them Talk Shows!) And anyone who thinks Olbermann or Maddow are even close to the level of Venom, Absurdity and RADICALISM that Limbaugh, Savage and some of these other clowns are have either NEVER WATCHED THEM, or are so blinded by their own radical views that they've lost all perspective.

They're very good at denying the past as well. It's unfortunate that the very people they've lied to and gotten to go to these t party rallies in their support are the very people that would benefit the most from a healthcare bill. And since when did unions, such as teacher's, steelworkers, meat packers, etc. sieze to be American citizens?
