Israel gave away land before the these so called Palestinians tore up the land. They want to destroy Israel and that is their only goal.
First of all these so called Palestinians are Arabs who were thrown out of Jordan years ago. Here is the solution. The Arabian countries are so rich from producing and selling oil. They should take some of that money and buy or build land for their brothers. Or they could absorb the Palestinians into their own countries and there would finally be peace. But here is the problem. The Muslim countries do not want peace, they want Israel destroyed and are using the Palestinians as a tool to accomplish this.

Several years ago around Israel there was a very large sea turtle that was washed up on the sand. The Palestinians caught this turtle, then tortured it to get its blood hot and then drank its blood thinking it would make them potent. And these are the people who want to live "peacefully" with the Israelis? Give me a break.

Israel is the only Democracy in that area. Every time Israel defends itself it gets criticized. Israel gives up land for peace and gets more missiles dropped on it. Israel is surrounded by enemies. What about the Muslims who are suicide bombers, hide behind children so they won't get shot and cut throats of their enemies?

So Israel may make a mistake now and then so what! Israel is fighting for her life.

God bless Israel and we support her right to exist!

Did Mancow bring on the strippers he used to have on his radio show when he was just a Howard Stern impersonator?

And I love that patronizing attitude towards Jews and Israel. Comes out every time these clowns need to; otherwise Jews are negligible. How do they think "War on Christmas" began? Kids like me who didn't think we had to learn Christmas carols or make Christmas decorations at school! (I guess the "good ones" are Israeli; the "others" are the Americans like Ben Stein or Mark Levin...and we'll skip over the rest)

I wish he hadn't backed down either! This kind of Republican hypocrisy and obstructionism will give the Democrats plenty of ammunition this fall.

Why is Israel viewed as the country that can do no wrong. Last time I checked Israel bombed the living daylights out of that region (claiming they had to because the "enemy" was hiding in the city using the people as human shields) and conducted millitary raids in the countries surrounding it. They also continue to build settlements on already settled land in a way that continually pushes back the people who already live there. Then when pressed to stop in the name of peace (by both the US and representatives from its Arabic neighbors) they openly say NO. And does the US lash out against them for it. Nope. Politicians feel as if its career suicide to denounce any actions from Israel. Israel is like a little brother to the US who bullies others. Even the older kids and adults in the room. And it's able to do that because everyone else in the room is afraid of getting beat up by the US. It's sad but true. Eventually, there may come a time when the US cannot continue to back Israel's every move. At some point the US government must reckognize that neither side is innocent in this dispute. Both have committed their own atrocities and both should be viewed as being capable of the same level of savagery.

When was the last time any significant number of US troops fought in an Israeli war? We support them but you are acting as though we have continually fought along side them which is just not the case. Of course, Israelis and palestinians are guilty of atrocities and so is America for that matter. But dont pretend that Israel continues to remain a country merely because of US support. It has the second strongest armed forces in the world and is now leading every country including America in weapons technology. They do not want to fight the US but they certainly no longer need America's consent to defend their country. In fact, the congress passed a resolution after the last war in gaza condemning Israel's actions. I agree that they used excessive and unnecessary force but you have to realize that nearly every one of the countries bordering them would wipe Israel off the face of the earth if they had a chance. You also need to realize that the reason things are still so brutal between palestinians and Israelis is because the palestinians in gaza decided to vote in a terrorist organization named hamas during their first democratic elections who's sole goal up to that point was to terrorize Israeli citizens in the hopes of eventually destroying the country. Furthermore, Gaza launched over 200 rockets at Israeli soil prior to the invasion and warned hamas multiple times that if they did not cease, their actions would be met with enormous force and they continued to bomb. Im not saying Israel was perfectly justifies in their actions and in fact, I think they did do many things wrong and deserved condemnation for such force but lets not pretend that Israel is just america's little brother. Its grown up and at this point, could beat the crap out of most of the block. If Israeli wins a war, they gain nothing but bloodshed and death but if they lose one or even look weak, they cease to exist entirely. Thats a difficult spot to be in for any country. No politician, no general, no soldier in Israel EVER wants to be responsible for the end of Israel which often results in excessive force but for them, using too little would be far more dangerous.

I never said the US fought along side them nor was it implied. I also never said that it only remains a country because of US support. My issue is that Israel is constantly portrayed as a country simply defending itself. The point is that there is no clear answer to what is going on and who is motivating who. Hamas comes off as terrorist to some and legitimate to others based on the customs and values adopted by the people. Israel's millitary may be viewed as terrorists by the Palestinians. It's all about perspective. Nobody disagrees about the facts. The issue at hand is how those facts are framed to make Israel appear as if it is acting on pure and innocent motives while Palestine is a lawless country run by terrorists. This gives a severely skewed view of reality to the people not directly involved in the conflict and shapes the opinion of the world in a way that doesn't allow people to make decisions without an overwhelming bias.

He stood up alright and a lot of americans would agree that we need to cut taxes but he stood up against unemployment benefits in a deep recession. That is just horrendous and it is hard to think that this is just a coincidence. Stand up against a defense appropriations bill or stand up to raise taxes on the wealthy. Don't cut the budget on the backs of americans that are struggling to survive. Even the fake media applauding this is making me sick. That is such garbage - how would they like to go around telling unemployed americans throughout the country that they will now have to survive on nothing. You think they could get a job then? They would be lucky to make it through the month alive. This is repulsive and the fact that applauding this disgraceful act is becoming so mainstreamed is nauseating. I liked it better when we all knew right wing nut jobs were evil but they kept it to themselves. I cant believe we have to live in the same country as these heartless animals.
