Rush, you cannot equate one of the darkest days in American history to this. YOU don't have that right! Giving people healthcare is a little different than using a nuclear bomb to end a war. I realize that losing this legislative battle seems like it however, DO NOT use that language (or that imagery) to express that.

You are disgusting. You are making a comparison of the passage of legislation to the horrific death of many thousands of innocent people and destruction of two cities. What a PIG!

I spent 5 hrs on Monday in a NOWcare and a Hospital getting a CT scan after a ski fall that damaged my ribs. The lady next to me had insurance through her job then her husband had a stroke. He has insurance through the VA but they wouldn't pay for someone to come in and stay with him while she was working. She had to quit her job and lose her insurance. She was a 2x breast cancer survivor. She pays through the nose for her COBRA but worries that when that dries up and she can't pay she'll never get insurance again. She calls Baucus and Tester and Rehberg and tells them to pass this because she NEEDS coverage. These are real people that we are dealing with. I was freaking out myself figuring out how much my little ski fall would cost me and I HAVE INSURANCE. TOTAL BILL $2000!!! THIS IS REALITY!!!!

That's what makes all these angry, white men so absurd. The real suffering is happening to our fellow countrymen and women. The outrage that Limbaugh spews is only for the attention it gives him...he doesn't believe in amything or anyone or any being other than himself...it's shameful that there isn't more fury directed towards him but those in the throes of pain and unemployment don't have the luxury or time to waste expending energy on Limbaugh and the rest.

Yet, the tea baggers final argument (with no guilt, or shame, or compassion) always comes down to, "Why should I pay for anyone else's healthcare?"

Good gracious, Limpy -- get your historical timelines straight.

A moment ago, you said the healthcare speech was like "being in the Nuremberg Trials" -- which were AFTER Hiroshima and Nagasaki . . .

I think he was making a tasteless reference to the "nuclear option" that "Reconciliation" is often referred to as.

When he incites the right-wing crazies to revolt, I hope someone guts him like a pig and roasts him slowly on a spit. He adds nothing to the debate but vitriol and hate.

Free speech is one thing but Rush has been taking it farther and farther... Bordering on treason, IMO. He's going to frighten someone to violence soon. (Again?) His listeners aren't very bright but they are extremely emotional.

(i can't believe i am about to say this...)

in all fairness to rush, i don't think he was comparing passing the legislation to hiroshima and/or nagasaki. rather, he was using the false equivalency of reconciliation with the "nuclear option" and saying if he thinks he (obama) is going to go nuclear, wait until rush responds...that will be like the bombs dropping on japan.

      It's Nagasaki
Limbaugh must have been looking in the mirror when he thought of that one:

"Fat Man" is the codename for the atomic bomb that was detonated over Nagasaki, Japan, by the United States on August 9, 1945.

Rush says the health care bill is like
It's being at Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

But for many Americans it is probably more like
It's enjoying Japanese food and sake.

But the absolute worst thing about the healthcare bill--

Listening to Rush, Glenn Beck, Hannity, Quinn and Palin with their unsupported and totally illogical and opinions. If Rush would be honest he would say that the worst thing about the healthcare bill is listening to him talk about it.
