Horowitz thinks any union is communist.

They are. I'm not saying anyone who is a member of a union is a communistst, but all of their leaders are.

"I really need attention. So I'm going to spit out some random, stump-stupid comment and bask in the responses I get from people who tell me what I already know- I've got the brain of a chick pea and the only time I feel even slightly relevant is when people call me a moron at MMFA."

So here's my gift you. Do you mean that becoming the leader of a Union makes one a Communist, or that only Communists would want to join Unions?

The floor is yours, Stupid. Enthrall us with your drooling inadequacy and almost-entertaining cluelessness. And don't forget to use "teh" at least once.

And while you're at it, this is the SIXTH time I'll request that you explain your comment "the United States went to war against Germany for a moral good, to close down the concentration camps." Of course, you'll ignore this again, but I thought I'd just give you the chance you don't want to defend yourself. Again.

My hypothesis for BJF is that he is either an extremely skilled satirist, as he seems to be a typing, trolling, neocon parody. OR that he gets some kind of pleasure from the whole experience of provoking those who disagree with him. Like a partisan hack Republican that's addicted to S&M phone sex lines, but running out of money. In having posters here respond to him, refuting his points and calling him a moron, he's found a cheap alternative to get his rocks off.

Your hypothesis is not very far of, specially with his constant use of "teh" and the fact that he called FreeRepublic a "source".

DANG! I'm going to have to change my word . . . it's now "marxistfascistnazisoclalistprogressivleninistmaoist." Pretty soon, it's going to take a "clean sheet of paper" just to write all of the things that Beck accuses anyone in the Obama administration of being.

I know. They can't be ALL of these things at the same time, but according to Beck, they can. The reason? Beck has absolutely NO idea what any of these political ideologies entail . . . they just SOUND SCARY!

You know, David Horowitz's daughter (Rose Horowitz) was a lefty who died fairly recently. Horowitz wrote a book about it and I heard the liberal radio host Thom Hartmann give him a very respectful and humane hearing on his show to speak about his loss yesterday. It was a good reminder that, despite ideology, we're all susceptable to the same frailties and tragedies. I actually felt empathy for Horowitz for about 10 minutes there.

Of course today he's on the Beck show shovelling the same sorry junk he always does. I guess these "human" moments don't last long.

You watch the TV show, right?

What's the matter, Glenn? The ad revenues falling off too sharply for even Mr. Murdoch's wallet? Are you just waking up to the fact that there is a portion of your audience that only watches to laugh at your ignorant ravings? Or, were you just trying to be sure that Mr. Stern has been properly indoctrinated?

I was a member of a couple of teacher unions, they are Communist, trust me. Most of the teachers I knew would have been furious with the insult and implied association! I'm not a Communist, a Leninist, or a Marxist, trust me, you should see my bills! Andy Stern used the old phrase from Marx because the world has become a global marketplace, and workers all over the world do have a common interest in uniting and working together to improve working conditions. That isn't Communism, that's just enlightened self-interest.

That should be "aren't Communist". Most of the teachers I know are centerists or even Republicans, with a few notable exceptions.

No one listened to Horowitz when he was a communist so why should anyone take him seriously that he's a racist neo-con facist? He 's nothing but the conservative Abby Hoffman (but without the charm) looking to put himself front and center into any issue.

I read articles and other works from alot of far lefties. And one thing that alot of them have in common (Michael Parenti, Tim Wise, Tariq Ali, Alexander Cockburn, etc) is that they all can't stand punk ass David Horowitz. He as you all know was a far lefty before money tempted him over to the dark side. But I think Tim Wise nailed Horowitz's most annoying trait and I believe most of you would agree with him. Horowitz has this seriously snnoying and vile habit of labeling anyone to the left of Joe Lieberman as a "radical."

My brother and I are in the same union and the funny thing about him is that he is a Fox fan. Basically a huge Repug. We have conversations on this all the time. He does feel that the money he and I make by belonging to the union is justified. He says that seeing he does the work that he is entitled to the pay that we are getting. why should the employer himself bathe in the lap of luxury?

One of my friends who's a big Limbaugh fan is a union worker, who said he wants pure unrestrained capitalism. I was telling him how libertarians want pure unrestrained capitalism. He also says that socialism scares him. I told him that technically his union job is a form of socialism. And with pure unrestrained capitalism, his union job wouldn't even exist. What a damn moron. People like him will cut off their nose just to spite their face in hopes that someone like Rush and Hannity will pat them on the head and call them a Great American.

Very true. All labor leaders are Marxists. Unions should be banned - they hurt business.

yeah, lets ban the unions. then we can go back to making a dollar a day and increase the work week to 6 12 hour days. yay!!! go big business. lets make a fortune off the backs of the regular folks.

you really need to go back to school and learn a bit o history. and from some of your past posts maybe just some general ed stuff.

"Unions should be banned - they hurt business."

The Supreme Court has stated that freedom of association is integral to freedom of speech. Figures you'd be against it, torture boy.

Jindahl you are a damn fool. why do you say they hurt business? If it was not for labor rich people would not be rich. I work my ass off for the people I am employed with during the 8 months of the year i work. why should I not have a piece of the pie that my skills help put these roads together. I think I would have skilled labor building roads than some of the people you will get from labor ready.
