Is it within reason to say that if you absolutely hate the idea of health care reform, think it's a plot to kill grandma, and believe every smear thrown at you, you're probably not in the camp of someone who would vote for a democrat to begin with?

...So what do they have to lose.

I think the purposes of Wretched's comments are:

      1. To perpetuate the notion among its viewers that "everyone" is against health care reforrm; and

      2. To send the message to Democratic members of Congress that FOX will work towards their defeat.

As we get closer to having health care reform passed, I am sure the rhetoric will reach new lows, even for the right wing blowhards.

Scott Brown is their favorite nugget or what? Everything hinges on that botched election! Hey lady! The Democrats are in power. Can they govern now?

The Brown election is one of their favorite talking points. They continually say it was a statement against the health care bill. In reality, Massachusetts already has health care similar to what is being proposed in the bill and polls show it wasn't really an issue to voters. But of course, these facts are not mentioned by FOX.

Retchin', health care is not on the minds of your viewers because you are trying to convince them that they don't need it. Yes, jobs would be nice, but jobs are one of the last things that comes in a recovery. So far, the recovery seems to be coming along. I look for more jobs soon. But, even then, it will take time to come up with 10 million jobs. In the meantime, to make sure we have healthy workers, and that workers don't need to worry about finding or qualifying for health care benefits, it is good to work on health care reform, something that Democrats have been working on for nearly a century. The time has come.

This is the new talking point. Expect to see every troll who posts here today and every hate talk radio/Fox talking head say the exact same thing. I've heard it from several GOP Congressmen and from Fox. It's like Frank Luntz has a little remote control device wherein he inserts the recording, pushes the button and they all say it over and over and over again ad nauseum.

And by tonight every dittohead and Foxbot will be wearing a neck brace from nodding in agreement all day.

Much agreed. Hopefully, Jon Stewart will put together a montage.

That was both fair AND balanced. On one hand, you had the commentator from FOX News. On the other, you had a guest from the New York Post. That's air-tight.

With no public option, Obama is telling all Democrats to go on a kamikaze mission by voting for health care.

The public option was the fuzzy area that many Americans didn't understand, and the Dems never seemed to be able to explain. But it got scrapped, by the Dems themselves in order to get their own members to get on board with their own Bill..

The public option is the thing the public supports by a large margin.

So according to the wingnut dictionary Moderate Democrat = DINO. THat makes sense since we already know that Far Left Radical = Mainstream Dem.

What I'm wondering is, why Kirsten Powers could possibly want to be a columnist for the New York Post, of all newspapers out there? She's a pretty smart woman... why demean yourself like that?
