This man is CRAZY! He just makes it up as he goes. Anyone who listens to this man is deliberately ignorant. Massa is lying . . . his story did a complete 180 in a couple of days.

Well, I know that many REAL conservatives . . . CHRISTIAN conservatives are completely and totally turned off by this man. His comments about leaving churches which teach social justice is telling Christians to simply turn their backs on God. He's losing 'em. I hope he falls flat of his lying, ignorant face.

The other day Beck railed about how progressives and liberals were destroying the country. Then he immediately started ridiculing progressives and liberals for indoctrinating our kids about "dirty rivers" and other apparently left-wing conservation preoccupations.

He criticized how our kids are being misled about how bad things are these days, by showing a slide of the Cuyahoga river on fire in 1969, claiming that 'WE HAVE LAWS NOW FOLKS TO PREVENT THIS!!"

Not realizing, of course, that these very environmental laws were the work of-- you guessed it-- liberals and progressives.

        ??1791??
The United States Constitution was adopted on September 17, 1787, by the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and ratified by conventions in each U.S. state in the name of "The People". The Constitution has been amended twenty-seven times; the first ten amendments are known as the Bill of Rights.

          I made a mistake,correction:\

The United States Bill of Rights consists of the ten amendments added to the Constitution in 1791, as supporters of the constitution had promised critics during the debates of 1788.[15] The English Bill of Rights (1689) was an inspiration for the American Bill of Rights. Both require jury trials, contain a right to keep and bear arms, prohibit excessive bail and forbid "cruel and unusual punishments." Many liberties protected by state constitutions and the Virginia Declaration of Rights were incorporated into the Bill of Rights.

Once the Congress of the Confederation received word of New Hampshire's ratification, it set a timetable for the start of operations under the new Constitution, and on March 4, 1789, the government began operations.

How is this man, who admittedly hasn't attended school, earned the trust of so many? So he's 'done some reading' and based on his findings Hamilton = bad, Wilson = evil, progressives = communist. History is so much more nuanced than that to summarize it the way he does is not only to commit an intellectual injustice but to go on to broadcast it to the masses as the unadulterated truth poisons the very concept. But no, he's just 'asking questions', after all, and only 'implying' at treachery. I'm sure Beck's definition of a 'patriot' would include going to any length to defend one's country even if that meant to destroy or demonize anything it may have once held sacred.

Barton is the biggest liar in the world. If he can't find a Founders quote to make his point, he just makes one up.

It's the "dumb like me" syndrome that has infected the Republican party. Bush, Beck, Liz Cheney, and Palin- she's the poster child for this mentality. Beck is trying to out-stupid Palin and it seems he's succeeding. Hope he runs for office.
As funny as this is - I am afraid that with our broken education system, infotainment "news" and mentally ill, thriving right wing echo chamber, these people might get enough stupid people together to form a serious voting block.

Is FoxNews running the political opposition? Huckabee and Palin get paid airtime to promote their opinions, when Beck isn't selling a revionist history book, or a partisan ranting stage show, he's 'educating' people on tv every night with his chalkboard, history lessons, and sermons on what it means to be American, AND he's going to start his 'American Revival' traveling salvaton show?

There are five references to "writing" or "write" in Isaiah:

(Isa 8:1) Moreover the LORD said unto me, Take thee a great roll, and write in it with a man's pen concerning Mahershalalhashbaz.

            (Isa 10:1) Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed;

(Isa 10:19) And the rest of the trees of his forest shall be few, that a child may write them.

(Isa 30:8) Now go, write it before them in a table, and note it in a book, that it may be for the time to come for ever and ever:

(Isa 38:9) The writing of Hezekiah king of Judah, when he had been sick, and was recovered of his sickness:

            About 88 references to 'hand'.

She quoted Isaiah 49:16, but it says nothing about God "writing" on His hand. It says that God had Israel "engraved" or "graven" in the palm of his hand. Next time, if Sarah wants to make her blasphemous claim, she'll have to bring a pocket knife along to "write" her notes.

Then, we had eight years of Clinton, who was arguably a moderate Republican running in disguise as a Democrat. And, then who? Why, the idiot son of senile old King Reagan's court jester! If ever there was a family that erroneously believed in it's own nobility, it is the BUSH family. You are barking mad, up the wrong tree.

A child's rendition of heavily revised history. Like a picture story book: "It was BAD!" (marxism).

But I was wrong about Beck. I thought he was nostalgic for the 50's, but he actually wants to take us way back to the early part of the 19th century before all those bad philosophers were even born. He wants to erase all that, including the amendments. A true constutionalist purist doesn't need no stinkin' amendments.

He seems to aim his mark a bit further back everytime he goes on one of his history lesson rants. He was speaking very highly of Harding during CPAC. Now, he is delving into the pre 1880's, you know, when a significant portion of the population couldn't vote (like women and, to a large degree, blacks). Seemingly, to Beck everything was better then as the Industrial Revolution began to steamroller through society in the United States.

Maybe it was the part where he referred to the Europeans as a "disease." Or where he ludicrously claimed that America is where it's at right now because FDR was a bad president.

Blaming FDR's New Deal for our debt problem makes about as much sense as blaming Lincoln for the New Deal, or Reagan for 9/11.

Seriously, how willfully stupid can you be?

This guy describes an entire century of European thought as "the disease," claims that European immigration destroyed America, and completely trashes European culture simply because it is not American - then claims that he is the one defending against fascism.

Let's not forget that, according to his "analysis," the U.S. was doing just dandy before President T. Roosevelt came along and ruined everything. Likewise, FDR damaged the country - FDR - in Beck's rants.

Maybe it's a return to one of the original values in the colonies and early America: Being White. White meaning no Irish, no Germans, no Polish, and no Italians. You had to be pure white bread English to not have any stigma or stereotypes attached to you.

Hey, bucko left out Darwin, whose enlightening idea deposed the pow-, pow-, power-wielding of religiosity righteousness, though 'churchism' is still squirming in its death throes from having Truth poured on it, 150 years later still squirming, like a garden slug sprinkled with salt.

And, notice the time (dated 'Teddy Roosevelt' on the chalkboard) where the 'USA track' curves back toward totalitarianism ("rulers"), is when the Federal Reserve started (1910-14) and invented the US dollar, with the exclusive franchise to print those bucks, which it then loans to the US Govt to circulate and which must be repaid with interest. That is, for every 100 dollars the Fed.Reserve prints and loans to the USGovt and into circulation, 100 + interest dollars must be paid back to the Fed.Reserve ... but the "+ interest" dollars do not exist, until the Fed.Reserve prints them . . . .

... and things went downhill from there (Fed.Reserve invention of US dollar) to here (banking crash, mortgage crash, corruption spike).

Do this one next, Becky: Secrets of the Federal Reserve: The history, organization and controlling interests behind the Federal Reserve -- by Eustace Mullins, 1983

What a wack job. At least he knows that fascism is right wing though. It is funny how all these crazies call Obama fascist when that is on the opposite end of the political spectrum.

Oh, not really. Today he may call fascism right wing, tomorrow it will be progressive. He thinks that there's just one word to describe the president. "marxistfascistcommunistsocialistprogressivemaoistislamomuslim"

Glenn Beck has the nerve to talk down on a "ruling class" when he has/makes millions of dollars and is a powerful media figure who controls a legion of ignorant zombies all the while hundreds of thousands of people IN AMERICA are struggling to make ends meet. What a complete fraud.

The patronising tone with which he imparts his twaddle amazes me. Why aren't his acolytes offended?

The biggest joke is that whilst extolling the virtues of certain Enlightenment thinkers, you know, Jefferson, Paine, Madison and all those guys (no mention of Mary Wollstonecraft) he failed to mention that they were (shock, horror) liberals and the U.S. constitution is a liberal document. Oops.
