Yeah, he's a hero. Just when you thought crazy Glenn couldn't sink lower he manages to scrape the other side of the bottom of the barrel.

This looks like amateur night. Beck can't handle a show that isn't highly choreographed...like Hannity's show, too.

Beck is not a journalist. He's not an interviewer. He's certainly not a teacher. He's just a nut case propagandist.

Exactly. The talking heads on Morning Joe were speculating as to why he quit now, since the best way he could get revenge on the Democrats would be to hang around and vote against the HealthCare Bill.

I love the part in this interview where Massa whines that he had his arm twisted and said, "it's called whipping." Of course, it's called "whipping." It is part of the job duty of the WHIP to whip the caucus in line. Tom DeLay was called "The Hammer" because when he was Majority Whip, he HAMMERED people in line.

      Give me a break!

If I'm interpreting correctly the strange and strained metaphor that beck made, he was actually trying to minimize, even ridicule, campaign finance reform... correct?

That was the metaphor, or analogy really, calling for campaign finance reform is so useless and foolish, that it's like saying firefighters need better radios, when in fact there's a building about to fall down, and who cares about radios at a time like that, you need to run for your danged life NOW!

He was minimizing and ridiculing campaign finance reform.

It took me two passes of the video clip to confirm that, and still I'm not rock certain because it's so dumb, and the metaphor (or analogy) was so strange and strained.

And by the way, I take the term "campaign finance reform" to mean our efforts to keep lobbyists from BRIBING our Congresspersons, by way of campaign contributions that are in truth BRIBES.

And so to me the analogy isn't one where you minimize and ridicule campaign finance reform by comparing it to suggestions about better radios, it's where you cite the importance of it (because it's these BRIBES and this BRIBERY that's weakening and slowing and even stopping all our other reform efforts), you cite the importance of campaign finance reform, by comparing it instead to the building that's falling down...

We need danged campaign finance reform NOW!

No I was watching the show. Beck was refering to the serious condition of the country and the congress and president's lack of understanding about what should we tackle first, the burning building or get new radios for the firemen. Of course your first action is to put out the fire then decide what hampered the rescue. I love Beck but I could see it like he did that the clown ex congressman wasn't going to reveal anything new because there was nothing new. You wanna bet Glenn appologizes tomorrow to the audience for wasting an hour of their time? We should all know Washington is broken but it is sad that those involved don't even know how bad or how to fix it. The worst of this economy is yet to come. Mark my words.

          You "love" Beck?

You base your knowledge on crap you hear from this dishonest, uneducated Zoo Radio DJ? Seriously? That's really sad, man. I mean it. Educate yourself. Turn off this liar.

          Curious.

What would your presciption be for reviving the economy?

Why do you think the "worst of this economy is yet to come?"

I thought he was trying to say that the economic crash was the doing of terrorists. But I can only stand watching it once, so I might be wrong.
