Mr. Beck, your home town would collapse without the US Navy bankrolling its survival.

This is what he has been working on for the last week? Isn't this a socialist premise that he is working under, i.e. redistribution of land and resources?

I heard some right wingnut talking the other day about how the federal government should sell all of the protected lands to private management companies, like National Parks and Forests. Right after that someone from rightwingnutland was talking about how the prison's in this country should be a for-profit industry. I'm sorry but these people are f*c*ing nuts. They are willing to do and say anything to discredit Obama. If the American people elect these idiots in November were all in trouble. PLEASE don't hesitate to challenge these right wingers....argue with them at every turn.

Ohio is unfortunately considering privatizing the turnpike like Indiana did. It's trading short term revenue for long-term headaches.

Privatized prisons and schools in Ohio have been a complete disaster.

If sold to pvt mgmt Cos, wouldn't it be within their rights to ban, or strictly control, guns in those tracts, unlike at present? Do these guys ever think things out?

Wow most of that land that is owned by the Federal Government in the Southwest is desert and no one really wants to live there. According to that map Las Vegas is owned by the Federal Government, so it probably isn't very accurate.

I was in CT this morning (lived there for many years) and now I'm home in NJ. NJ's reputation was created by it's citizens, to keep scum like Beck away. Both states are extremely beautiful.

I started to watch Beck's daily delusion, but turned it off. Is he suggesting that the government open up the west to homesteading or turn it over to corporate 'murica.

The reason the east is so densely populated is that it was settled first and grew out from the population centers along the coast.

Beck and his zombies should all move out west and tame the open areas with their fake "rugged individualism" and leave the rest of us the hell alone.

          Delegates to the Constitutional Convention
          Delegates who signed

David Brearley (often spelled Brearly) (June 11, 1745 – August 16, 1790) was a delegate to the U.S. Constitutional Convention and signed the U.S. Constitution on behalf of New Jersey.

Jonathan Dayton (October 16, 1760 – October 9, 1824) was an American politician from the U.S. state of New Jersey. He was the youngest person to sign the United States Constitution and a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, serving as the fourth Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, and later the U.S. Senate. Dayton was arrested in 1807 for treason in connection with Aaron Burr's conspiracy, he was never put on trial, but his national political career never recovered.

William Livingston (November 30, 1723 – July 25, 1790) served as the Governor of New Jersey (1776–1790) during the American Revolutionary War and was a signer of the United States Constitution.

William Paterson (December 24, 1745 – September 9, 1806) was a New Jersey statesman, a signer of the U.S. Constitution, and Associate Justice of the United States Supreme Court, who served as the 2nd governor of New Jersey, from 1790 to 1793.

William Samuel Johnson (1727-1819) was an early American statesman who was notable for signing the United States Constitution, for representing Connecticut in the United States Senate, and for serving as president of Columbia University.

Roger Sherman (April 19, 1721–July 23, 1793) was an early American lawyer and politician. He served as the first mayor of New Haven, Connecticut, and served on the Committee of Five that drafted the Declaration of Independence, and was also a representative and senator in the new republic.

Fox news research department is down right pitiful. With in 5 minutes of searching I found a detailed map that displays federal land and gives a key to what department owns the land. The thing is a lot of the federal land out west had nothing to do with progressives and more to do with native Americans.I.E.Military bases and reservations. Nice try fox. Ohh yea and heres the link to that map http://www.nationalatlas.gov/natlas/Natlasstart.asp

Another good example of beck just looking at something and pulling whatever comes to mind out of his butt. He has no grasp of history and why the federal government has all that land out west to begin with. It fell under the governments hands due to the expansion policies of the USA in the 1800's. Any land we took was automatically placed under federal control. Yes a ton of resources are in federal lands but we use laws from the late 1800's to govern the resources. So its actually quite easy to go into federal land and take the resources or build a house if you want.

BTW , ... Who originally had annexed all the land in the first place becky? You would think someone stole it from him.

The Federal Government, ... that's who!

How does he expect to sell this place if the state is a 'rathole'?

His real estate agency must be thrilled to hear him trash the state in which he's been trying to sell a house for the last six months.

Wow, Beck sure is a nut isn't he? Gwarsh, all those evil right wingers are sure a bunch of mouth-breathing, nazi, conformist, reactionaries. Right.

You peons are bent out of shape because he "offended" New Jersey. Boo hoo. I've lived in NJ, and I can tell you, it's the only oplace I've ever lived where a garbage dump killed a major interstate highway. http://www.nytimes.com/1989/08/09/nyregion/new-jersey-closes-dump-a-bit-too-late.html?pagewanted=1

NJ a "rathole"? Accurate. Get over it you leftist crybabies.

What an odd thing to say. But then I recalled that one of Beck's (few remaining) sponsors is...

      1-800-Pack-Rat

Yep, it's a subtle tie-in. But subtlety is what Beck does best (rolling my eyes).
