Oh, of course, Barack Obama lies...every time he opens his mouth, he lies. Sure...

But George W. Bush never told a lie the entire time he was President.

Right wingers crack me up...they are so pathetic.

For a moment there when they referred to the President as being a liar to Congress and the American people during a State of the Union address, I thought they were going to show videotape of George W. Bush selling us an invasion of IRAQ...

They didn't, but that's what I recalled just the same.

Talk about being thin-skinned, so Obama criticized one decision by the Supreme Court, get over it, they are not the pantheon of gods. It was a bad decision, not as bad as Dred Scott or Gore vs. Bush but close. There are 3 branches of government, since when can't the judiciary not be criticized by the other 2.

Is it just me or is Hannity making a very, very, very, VERY STRONG push to overtake Beck for Misinformer of the Year?

I think Beck has shaken them all up at FOX...even Limbaugh. Their lying has taken on even more extreme dimensions. I guess they're all amazed at how easy it is to get away with Beckian lies.

Judges have been chewed up one side and down the other by right-wing professional liars like Hannity for being "activists."

Obama makes one criticism and it's the apocalypse.

This is so annoying. I don't understand why Hannity even bothers to put liberals on his show at all. It's not like he is trying to give other viewpoints any chance. Putting on weak faux-liberals only serves to convince his conservative viewers that liberals are complete 'tards.

But Obama was wrong on the facts.

There is no question on that. His opinion on the ruling is one thing, but to get the facts wrong is something completely different.

I also not think it was appropriate for him to criticize the court in that forum. I can't think of a sinlge reason why it would be appropriate. Perhaps someone can explain why it would be, but the court is a separate and distinct branch that is to be outside of politics. What Obama did was pull the court and its decision squarely and expressly into politics. Its essential effect was to intimidate and that is inappropriate.

He is free to state his disapproval, but that was not the forum.

We have to admit it, Hannity is actually right. The Supreme court decision does not go as far as Obama has declared. The majority justices didn't actually strike down the existing barriers on foreign companies because they said it fell beyond the boundaries of their decision. I've heard the loophole of foreign corporations with U.S. subsidiaries being able to do it but even that doesn't hold water. Federal Election Commission regulations say that a foreign national cannot "direct, dictate, control, or directly or indirectly participate in the decision-making process" for spending money for political purpose. So all in all this is a possibility but is very unlikely.
