You CONFIRMED it, Karl. Even if you were the second guy who outed her, you still leaked it. And then you had to make a mad dash back to the grand jury when your memory returned after you found out that someone squealed on you.

Rove leaked confidential info. He may not have relayed her NAME, but he relayed that she was the spouse of Joe Wilson and he violated his security clearance by outing a covert agent. It doesn't matter if someone else did it TOO. More than one person could do it, Karl.

He uses multiple excuses to pretend he's innocent. He's not.

You're lucky someone leaked info to YOU that they likely shouldn't have so that you were able to go back to the Grand Jury and LIE about what you knew and what you did and how your memory suddenly improved.

To this day, I am still annoyed at President Bush for not pardoning Scooter Libby. What happened to Scooter was a travesty of justice. It is Joe Wilson who belongs in prison.

Ah, so Joe Wilson, who wrote an article that said Iraq did not purchase yellowcake from Niger, belongs in jail, while Libby, who was found guilty in a court of law for obstruction of justice and perjury, does not?

With thinking like that there's little wonder why so many fell for that all too ridiculous, "Obama wants to ban fishing!" story.

Okay, seriously, how does Joe Wilson belong in prison? Do you just think everyone you don't like should be put in prison? Congratulations, you're a true Republican.

Scooter was convicted or a PROCESS crime. THere was no underlying criminal action. Fitzgerals knew that Armitage was teh leaker from teh very beginning. Once he knew that he should have shut down the investigation. However, he wanted to grandstand in order to advance his career.

Rove said "Oh, I heard that too" AFTER Novak told him what Armitage said. The Wilson/Plame goons were trying to gin up a scandal for political and personal gain. If they value privacy, why appear on teh cover of Vanity Fair and write a book?

Wilson went to Niger, sat by a poolside whilst drinking mint tea for 48 hours, and concluded Saddam did not try to guy yellowcake uranium when in fact he did.

This entire "scandal" was nothing but a political hit job on the Bush administratin by a group fo peace-nik liberals. Pathetic!

Scooter was a convenient fall guy. Scooter never leaked anyone's identity. He forgot what he said to whom and when? Bush was cowardly not to pardon him. Wilson lied and triggered an expensive investigation in which an innocent man was convicted.

What crime did Wilson comimt? Obstruction of Justice.

Read Joseph Wilson's op-ed piece, read it right now while the above video clip is still fresh in your ears...

      http://www.commondreams.org/views03/0706-02.htm

It's the single thing that would pizz rove off most of all, in response to this noise, if he knew you immediately went and read (or even re-read) the op-ed piece which was the whole reason they made so much noise about Joseph Wilson's wife, that reason being to distract you from "What I Didn't Find In Africa."

Read it, read it NOW, that's an order!

Amen to that. What gets lost in all this is that members of the Bush Administration sought revenge on Wilson for exposing the fact that invading Iraq was a fool's errand.

Rove's pudgy butt belongs in prison.

How many times do we have to explain this? Armitage's leak does not absolve Rove.

When it comes to leaks, there isn't a checkered flag for the first guy over the finish line. EVERYONE who leaks is wrong.

The reasons are obvious. Multiple leaks serve as confirmation to people who might be skeptical of the first one. One leak of a small piece of data, when combined with other small leaks can help the person who accumulates them create a complete picture.

There's NO QUESTION what happened here. NONE. Cheney's own notes make it clear that Cheney orchestrated the leak of a covert CIA operative's identity. He had it executed by directing Libby to go to Rove, fLIEscher and others in the administration. Those individuals then shopped the leak around town until they got journalists to bite.

There are numerous journalists who also lied about their involvement in the Plame leak -- Judith Miller, Matt Cooper,
Viveca Novak, Robert Novak, Tim Russert, Chris Matthews, Andrea Mitchell and others conducted themselves shamelessly by repeating the leak to each other, publishing it, and/or falsely publishing "who's the leaker?" stories as though they didn't know.

The whole reason Libby went on trial and was willing to go to jail was that he was lying to hide the involvement of Cheney, Rove and Fliescher.

Rove is a congenital, compulsive, sociopathic liar, just like every other person who worked for George W. Bush. Rove lies about everything. He lies all the time.

The only question about the lies that Rove's committed to print is whether the media will call "bullsh*t!" on his falsehoods, or whether they will continue to abet him. Since acknowledging his lies means admitting to theirs, I think we can safely predict the outcome.

Setting the record straight: Rove was Novak's 2nd source, Armitage was his first source. Apparently, Armitage didn't know Valerie Plame was a covert agent, he thought she was an analyst.
Rove was Matt Cooper's (of Time Magazine)source.
Court documents revealed Fitzgerald considered perjury charges against Rove because at first he didn't reveal his contact with Matt Cooper.

This should serve as a reminder to future presidential candidates everywhere - DO NOT elevate your political advisor/strategist to the chief of staff position. One is required to lie and fabricate stories to protect politicians image during election campaigns at all costs and is not responsible to america for their actions while the other is able to be indicted and imprisoned for the same dishonesty. Every day Rove spends out of prison is another reminder of how immune the white house can be to criminal behavior.

I have a cousin like Carl Rove smooooothhhh liar. Can tell lies.and when caught turn on a dime break out new lies making you forget the the ones you just caught him telling. He tells lies to back up the ones he is going to tell, sometimes weeks and months in advance. This counsin has taught me how to identify real liars. The key element to telling good lies is to put a verifiable truth at the front, middle and back of the lies.To know when they are lying you most first pull all elements of truth out to isolate the lies. Thanks to some of my cousin's costly lies,I knew Carl Rove was one of THEM the first time I heard him speak

I have several family members who are the same way (don't we all?). Carl Rove is a sociopath who can look you in the eye and lie his butt off. Most people with a shred of integrity cannot do that. They will turn their face or divert their eyes. You have it right with Rove, he tells just enough of the truth that people are often unable or unwilling to detect the lies. He is a shameful person and a small man with absolutely no honor.
