This reminds of that story, where the brilliant but maniacal doctor starts playing around and experimenting with great and powerful forces of nature (not political forces), and the thing he creates, it comes alive, "It's alive!"

But after some time, the monstrosity he made, it gets out of control, and ends up destroying him.

This seems a little bit like that story, where a 'tea party' creature might destroy the chances of the Republican candidate in the Nevada Senate race.

I forget the name of the story, but I remember the story itself well enough, especially the part where Gene Wilder is being throttled by the monster, and he's trying to communicate to Marty Feldman to sedate the dang thing by way of a crazy game of Charades ("Give him a seda-GIVE?"), and then afterwards when Wilder tries to find out what went horribly wrong, he gets it out Feldman that it wasn't Hans Delbrook's brain that he put into the monster, but "Abbie someone..."

"Abbie Normal, yes, that was the name!"

      That kills me every time!

Fuchs Noose probably picked this one up in the comments about Asjihan that were in the Las Vegas Sun earlier this week. The article was exploring the question of whether the tea party candidate could split the republican vote. It said nothing about Reid joining with the tea party/tea party candidate to do anything. I read the first conspiracy theory in the comments to the article. Someone at Fuchs Noose probably read the article and comments, plucked the conspiracy theory out of them and handed it on to the Fuchs Noose entertainers like Baier. This is a hit job they're launching on Senator Reid, and there's not a lick of truth to it. Maybe Rachel Maddow can have Jon Ralston back on her show to debunk this lie since he's a LV Sun reporter.

Just have to love this story. Fox News "creates" the "Tea Party", promotes it 24/7. Tells everyone that to be a patriot, you need to get involved with the lunatics.

Then one day in a rare moment of clear thinking, someone says, "Hey those tea party people are going to split up the right wing vote", and give the Democrats a lot of wins.

Palin and Beck for 2012 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! vote baby vote!

This is just stupid . . . the teabaggers hate Reid as much as they hate Obama. Also, there is NO constitutional provision for political parties AT ALL. If these folks want to support another candidate, it's their right.
