They make stuff up? Did they say your NYC pad is totally decorated like a real man's man home?

That's why he's upset. Gawker posted pictures of his frou-frou apartment. It's his apartment, he had it decorated like a French bordello . . . guess he's worried about what people might think. He's got to trash Gawker.

Kind of counter-productive, because anyone who goes to gawker to see what's been written about Rush will find out he's got a chandelier above the tub.

The master bedroom with the mural on the ceiling cracks me up. I'm a female, and I wouldn't decorate a home like that . . . it's cheesy.

For Rush to make long moral pronouncements is the height of hypocracy. Remember, he is the guy who cleared customs in his entrance back into the US with someone else's Viagra prescription in his possession. He has the morals of an ally cat but all that is his business. What seems strange is for him to make cracks about Bill Clinton when he has had women problems. Frankly, I consider both of these issues to be only the business of the person involved. But every time Rush takes a whack at Clinton, I remember his own very strange lifestyle. You know the old saying, those who live in glass houses (even thos decorated so wildly) should NOT throw bricks.

Yeah. And you make stuff up about Barney Frank, Nancy Pelosi, Hary Reid, Hillary Clinton, President Obama, Former President Clinton, Former President Bush (only good stuff though,) yourself (ditto the good stuff,) Sarah Palin (ditto x 3,) poor people, middle class people, rich people, immigrants, etc. every day. What's you're point?

Rush, from what I've heard, they don't need to make stuff up.

Behold the Liar's poutrage. He pretends to laugh, claims he 'loves them' despite their 'snarky' ways, and trembles on the edge of madness trying not to fall off the cliffs of insanity.

Rush, I can tell it's Friday. You sound on the very ragged edge of losing all control. Seek help this weekend. Nobody from your real life truly cares about you, but if you are willing to pay a professional, they will at least listen to you, and try to help you figure out how to untangle the terrible mess you've made of your life. I pity you.

I don't know if you watch Lost, but it reminds me of the house Hugo buys for his mother with the money he wins from the lottery. Tacky and well, not quite teh ghey (it would be decorated better, for sure) but frou-frou to say the least. It doesn't even seem real... more like a filmmaker's idea of what a white trash loudmouth with no taste would do with money.

And the palm trees! Is that mural supposed to remind him of his trips to the Dominican Republic, or is that the bedroom for his boy-servant(s)?

psp, I think I mentioned this here before, but there was this documentary on tv a while back called "The Curse of the Lottery". It was all about the biggest idiots who win the big bucks, and it destroys their life. Not because they're idiots, but because of some evil curse.

The dimmest rednecks that win a few million decorate just like Rush.

There was a similar NUMB3RS episode, where former lottery winners who pi$$ed away their money had a group that met to discuss how they screwed up and how to avoid doing the like again. It also turned out that some had been robbing stores of lottery tickets to get the secret code that identified the multi-million dollar winner.

Oh, also going to Rush's 'bachelor pad', here's the Palace at Versailles:
