Yup, it does seem like Morris is willing to say anything as long as he gets to be on television saying it. He's a proven liar; his credibility is long gone.

      This is nonsense.

Scott Matheson was lobbying for this job last June, when there looked to be no doubt that Obama's bill could pass just fine. Senator Orrin Hatch had known for weeks that Matheson would get the nod for this position after Hatch nominated him!

To suggest that he's getting the nod because of any quid pro quo, implicit, explicit, or illicit, is ridiculous.

He's getting the nod because he's very well qualified for the job, because he WANTED the job, and because a Republican Senator nominated him!

The morons in my home state of Utah are having a field day with this one. TheHill.com reported that Matheson is a likely no anyway.

I'm still wondering how you can illegally nominate someone....

If it is an attempt to bribe his brother, it is illegal.

If Matheson votes yes, he will be annihilateed in the next election. Utah is a conservative state - Matheson only won because he has a conservative record.

But there is no evidence that it was. So, again....how can you illegally nominate someone?

      Like this, Dick?

      Or this, Dick?

      How about this, Dick?

      Perhaps you mean this, Dick?

Oh, you must have meant this, Dick.

Oh, my mistake. You must have meant this, Dick.

Oh, wait. Perhaps you meant this, Dick.

Oh, silly me. I forgot IOKIYAR.

We shall see. If Matheson votes in favor of Obamacare, it was a bribe. If he votes no, then it wasn't a bribe. His district has a R+20 Cook PVI. If he votes yes, his career is over.

First, your logic makes no sense. No surprise. Could someone receive a bribe and then not hold up his end of the deal? I say yes, but your "reasoning" says no.

Second, soon to be Judge Matheson was recommended by Republican Senators.

There is No question, NONE, that Matheson was nominated on the merits.

Your "we shall see" simply does not cut it.

In this dispute, one side (YOURS and Hannity's and Beck's) is CLEARLY wrong, and the other side (Matheson's and all sane people) is right.
