Stupak want to accomplish with legislation what the anti-choicers have waited years to do, destroy Roe. Where does it specifically state that in the bill, Stupak? I want a page number - not just your reference to some pie in the sky concept.

You notice that too? While stupak is so willing to state without a doubt that the law is somehow being fundamentally changed and will even state some random series of page numbers, he will never, ever give us the exact quote or paragraph in writing or in his owns words that he does not like and think is a federal subsidy on abortions. You know why he hasn't done this? Because there is no such quote. I am very skeptical of people that rail on a very specific issue but cannot define what they are taking issue with specifically. That almost always implies a hidden agenda or a knowing inability to prove what they are saying is true.

I want to see an exact quote - the only quote in the bill that talks about abortion is the exact wording of the hyde amendment. I feel like stupak is saying that if you receive federal assistance for anything be it public schooling or use of public libraries or drive on highways, you should not be able to afford an abortion. Because that is what happens when no insurance covers it. I think if a person is paying out of pocket personally for their own healthcare plan that their coverage should be allowed to include abortions no matter if the plan they buy from is in some sort of exchange that was set up using government funds or whatever other ridiculous links stupak is trying to draw but not say out loud.

This is why "Blue Dogs" have to face primaries. The "Blue Dog" Democrats have been just as obstructionist in the healthcare debate as the Republicans have. The NeanderCon/ Teabaggers have been doing "purity tests" to weed out the slackers. Maybe it's time for the Left to do some weeding too. The NeanderCon/Teabaggers are forcefully advancing their Corporate/Fascist Agenda. If we Liberals/ Progressive Democrats don't get busy and push back even harder they will be sucsessful in setting the country back 75 years. Our children deserve a better fate than to be living as Corporate serfs!

Are my ears deceiving me, or did he refer to his party as the "Democrat" Party at about 25 seconds?

      Plus, he sounds Canadian.
