So Rev. Wallis preaches a sedated version of Black liberation theology?

I hope that Beck's viewers see him keep attacking him in a strawman fashion from the safety of his show, rather than entering into the debate that Wallis has repeatedly asked for.

Wallis should keep calling for a dialogue. He should continue to only ask for a face to face conversation on Beck's show. Beck will be exposed, and some in the media will no doubt call him out on his unwillingness to be balanced.

Absolutely. If Beck is going to talk about Wallis for a week, he has no excuse not to have the man in the studio to discuss the issues.

If Beck fails to do that, he would deserve every bit of media coverage that includes the word 'coward'.

It'll take him a week to make a coherent reply. I wonder if chalk dust is toxic?

Oh! Oh! I just GOT it! Oh, it's too funny! The hammer! Oh, hahahahahahahaha, good one Glenn. Truly. Priceless! The 'hammer'! Too too funny! Ah, me. (wiping eyes, slapping knees, etc.)

See, see he didn't mean hammer, as in the hand tool used for driving nails. He meant ham, like he was going to be overacting! That's it! Isn't he a HOOT?!

Funny, Glenn, that you didn't mention anything about this guy until he called you out.

Seriously, how does one start a campaign to force Beck to have a public debate with Wallis? How can we force this bozo to put up or shut up?Because the instant Beck's audience actually sees him face to face with a reasonable and articulate opponent, at least SOME of them will have no choice but to recognise him for what he is.(And if Beck runs from the debate-as we all know he probably will- they'll start to see him as weak...)

I think it would be great to see Fox News vs. others on NPR's Intelligence Squared debating any topic. The fox news side of my picking would be Beck Hanity and then one of the blonds. But maybe the other side could have say Wallis, Maddow, and maybe one of the Clintons. I think that would be a very interesting session.

My advice to Glen Beck on Jim Wallis, is leave him alone unless he wants to be broadcasting on the Mormon public access channel again, Wallis ain't Rev. Wright or Van Jones and if Norman Bates Jr. (Beck) goes after Wallis or his organization he won't have a show because Murdock will fire him because he is one of America's leading evangelicals

This Loser is such trash. So now, because he has been called out on his BS By Wallis--in a civil way via an invitation to have an open dialogue--Beck is now going to (most probably) mock him with a side dish of attempted smear?????

      Pathetic and disgusting

      Dear Glenn,

Please man up and have Rev. Wallis on your show for a real talk. He's been asking for a conversation with you for almost two weeks now. Prove to your viewers the Eric Massa episode didn't turn you into a coward. Do it. Make my day.

Wallis has been around for a very long time and is quite capable of handling the lying smear merchant. Beck is losing support among his co-workers at Fox and is losing support from real Christians. Hopefully, his uneducated, dishonest fear/hatemongering will soon be silenced by public demand.

I still can't figure why Beck is allowed to continue - but maybe it gets some ratings. Jim Wallis can certainly handle him, no question there. But I'd like to see Beck drum up a little courage (not likely to happen), and enter into an open dialogue with Wallis (not likely to happen either.)

So social justice is Marxism? In that case, Glenn, Jesus was a Marxist, and so were the disciples...the whole of the Gospel is nothing BUT social justice.
