It's unfair to lump Beck in with all the other sick SOBs out there - they want nothing to do with him.

I still do not understand what the problem is. Obama has some allies that are Social Democrats, democratic socialists, if you will. The Social Democratic Parties of Europe and Canada are perfectly respectable political and economic options. It is just a sign of how far to the radical right that American political culture has gone that something as tepid as the policies of the Labor government of England would be considered the same as Communism or Fascism.

      Looney tunes!

Please don't feed this troll post. MMFA has provided plenty of evidence of Beck's witch hunts, going after Obama staff with baseless conspiracy theories and accusations that aren't grounded in reality.

If Beck is going after anyone that even mentions anything chinese, why isn't he adding himself to the list?

"We need to start thinking like the Chinese," Mr. Beck said at a recent rally. "I’m developing a 100 year plan for America." - November 21, 2009

And what is part of this "hundred year" plan?

"To that end, we will be conducting a series of conventions. These will be full-day experiences where you will be immersed in learning about topics ranging from self-reliance, community organizing, the economy and how to be a political force in your own neighborhood and country"

Sounds an awlful lot like being a community organizer to me.

"And then something funny happened. A self-proclaimed ‘transformative’ leader formed a self-declared 'movement,' powered in large measure by a sense of historical destiny ('This is the moment!'), yearning for national restoration ('We will make this nation great!'), demanding national unity at all costs, and glorifying itself for its own youthful energy. At times his most conspicuous followers were blindly devoted to a cult of personality with deeply racial undertones and often explicit appeals to messianic fervor."

Although this was written about Obama by Jonah Goldberg, but it fits Beck to a "T".

So, in the words of Conor Friedersdorf:

"'ve been studying history lately. And I'm shocked by how many orators I've found who manipulate people through propaganda. They play on nostalgia, feign emotions for rhetorical effect, and hold themselves up as someone to be trusted in a scary world of far-reaching conspiracies.

It is only because I care so much about America that I want you to be careful of men like this. You'll know them by the millions of dollars they make from media corporations and the machinery of established political movements, even as they denounce the media and political establishment. The anti-Christ, Godlessness, atheism, Richard Dawkins, Simon and Schuster, Glenn Beck, Fox News, Karl Rove, George W. Bush, Medicare Part D, huge budget deficits. Don't you see the connections!!!

Right, because whenever some whack job levies an outrageous charge against someone it's the job of the accused to prove that the whack job is a whack job.

If you have proof (quotes, links) of these people saying the following (all of which Beck accuses them of)....

Andy Stern: "I don't believe in the free market system"
          Anita Dunn: "I'm a Maoist"
          Van Jones: "I'm a Communist"
          ....Then cough it up.

He says Marxism is nothing but the redistribution of the wealth. Well captalism does that too. It seems like a lot of bank executives did pretty well last year in the wealth redistribution process. I hope Beck doesn't get confused and call them marxists.

You're absolutely right about that; Obama helped the rich parasites continue on their robber baron ways. So, having aknowledged that, you've just admitted he's nothing like a Marxist in any way. Thanks for the honesty- don't ruin it by denying you said it next time you want to attack him.

Glennie was whining, really whining about Wallis' supposedly calling him names and attacking him. And yet, when he smears people and spreads false information, it is just informing the people. Andy Stern's gift of a Nurses' apron becomes an ominous dead fish. Robert Creamer is a Congressional spouse, Anita Dunn went back to making money in Chicago, and Andy Stern is union President. These people do not hold positions in government. The President has lots of other advisors, why doesn't Glennie go after them? Could it be that they have lead lives on the straight and narrow, and they can't be smeared, or has he just not gotten around to it, yet. Glennie lives 2 1/2 miles right down the same road from the famous Glass House designed Johnson. Glennie, you know what they say about people who live in glass houses, don't you? Oh, maybe you never visited because he was a Liberal and Gay.

Maybe he is upset that he didn't get the fish, maybe he didn't really want the nurses' apron, but instead wanted a lab coat. I know of a few three year olds who have thrown such tamtrums when they didn't get the present that they wanted.

Beck keeps saying that President Obama has surrounded himself with Marxists/Maoist/blah, blah, blah. But today on Countdown, Chris Cillizza of the Washington Post made it clear that who Obama has really surrounded himself with are far more practical and important than Beck's paranoid fantasies:

"He surrounded himself with good basketball players," said Chris Cillizza.

I say, good for him. Have fun when you can!

Wow. If I send Beck a letter and tell him that he is an idiot, will he put me on his show with my picture on the blackboard?

No need, there are a lot of people who do that now, and they are not on his show. I guess there is not enough room on the board for everyone.

I looked up the word idiot in the dictionary, Beck's picture was there, with a request from mentally challenged individuals to stop insulting them.
