So healthcare reform is going to cause more people to have unprotected sex, so more women get pregnant and have more abortions?

Neither do Rush, Beck or any of the Fox/hate talkers. I'll repeat, these people do NOT represent conservatism and if you believe they do, you aren't a conservative.

Conservatism is not about lying and hating people. That's all these people do. It's not conservatism . . . they are DESTROYING conservative thought.

A true conservative would be jumping up and down, red in the face about how bad Rush makes a real conservative look!

A true conservative wouldn't stand idly by while people like Rush and Beck smear a very legitimate political philosophy.

They wouldn't ignore the nonsense that Beck and Rush spew every day.

Rush is lying about what Planned Parenthood things about increases in abortions. Rush is lying about what this bill will do that will affect unwanted pregnancies. Rush is lying about what the bill will do WRT funding for unwanted pregnancies.

The Hyde Amendment is still in effect, and cannot be changed by the HCR bill, and so it's still true that no federal funding will be used to fund elective abortions, which is the only kind of abortion services that Planned Parenthood provides.

Even a rabid anti-abortionist should want the issue discussed using factual information.

Has nothing to do with conservatism, seahawks, he's lying. There is nothing in the health care reform bill . . . either one of them, which funds abortion. It's against federal law . . . it can't be done.

When, oh when will Rush stop talking out of his A$$? He's so angry that his money will be used to pay for ANYTHING for lower income people that he'll keep on lying and spreading disinformation to keep people in opposition of HC reform. Funny though, how majority of his listeners will actually benefit from it.

Please Rush, make good on your promise to leave the country when HC passes.... pack your bags and head out Sunday ok?

I don't see how Planned Parenthood would get to perform most of the abortions allowed as exceptions by the Hyde Amendment. Maybe some of the rape and incest cases but most certainly not most of those done because of endangerment to the mother's life, which would most likely manifest in a hospital setting, I would expect.

You all know abortions will eventually be passes by tax payers. The radicle left and progressives usually have no problem with killing the unborn.

Except, for the fact, that there are laws in place which prevent federal tax dollars to be used to provide abortions. Nobody has talked about repealing that law by the way.

There's a distinction that right-wingers seem to have a difficult time making.

Being pro-choice doesn't necessarily mean you have no problem with abortion. It just means you don't think it should be illegal.

Just like...I have a problem with people cheating on their spouse. I don't like that it happens. But I don't think adultery should be illegal.

Excellent point Ruby... the crux of the debate is that the anti-abortion group has a lot of hatred and vitriol towards the pro-choice folks and with zero merit.

Just because you're pro-choice doesn't mean that you are for abortions, it just means that they believe it's a personal matter.

Like gun control, I hate guns but I don't support gun control legislation. I don't own a gun, I don't plan on owning one, but if there ever was a time where I decide I want to, it's my choice.

The simple fact is that almost every doctor and nurse at Planned Parenthood would happily go on to other branches of health care if they knew that there were to be no more unwanted pregnancies.

These morons really believe that PP delights in performing abortions.

They also believe that people are just giddy when getting an abortion as well. I've only known one woman in my life who had one, and needless to say, her experience was not a positive one at all. She thought long and hard about it, and struggled with her decision for several weeks, and in the end, she had the abortion. It wasn't an easy decision for her, and she's had many a counseling session about it since then. But, for her, it was the right decision then.

Rush, you do realize that Planned Parenthood does a LOT more than providing abortions right? Actually, providing abortions is just one small part of reproductive health that they provide for women across the country, but of course, you didn't know that.

Planned Parenthood also provides health services for men. Male contraceptives, of course, but also cancer screening. So it is definitely not abortions 24/7 as Rush and his ilk would have you believe. Rush could (if he wished) get his Viagra there.
