Actually, since a solid majority of Americans favor it, Rush, what Congress is really saying is "We want to be re-elected!" Well, except for the Party of No! of course.

Do they want to be re-elected? No! And I suspect they will get their wish, in spades.

Wrong again. The American people overwhelmingly want healthcare reform. It's one of the reasons Obama was elected.

The Democrats in Congress are acting boldy... they are passing something that they believe in, knowing that due to pinheads like you, they may have a more difficult time keeping their job.

If we valued our elected officials, we should value these traits and not the traits that we have encouraged in the past. Our congressional leaders were only good at getting elected. Here is a demonstration of them doing something that they believe in.

They should be praised for their bravery and we'll see how things shake out in November. Elections matter, no matter what the GOP thinks.

No, Blimpy, you're mistaken. They're saying STFU to you and your fellow professional liars.

(the bonus being a tanker load of Oxycotin, or an NFL franchise)

Both Obama and the libs in congress’s poll numbers are in the tank. Even if this disaster passes they will continue to be.

Isn't Obama at about 53%? Congress in general is always low but people tend to support their own representatives.

If one wants to get reelected, all you have to do is point out that your Opponent voted for this crap Obamacare and you will win in a landslide.

Nope. We'll just publicize the stories of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Sixpack where they explain how the health care reform bill saved their life or kept them from declaring bankruptcy, or allowed them to start their own business.

The only poll that matters is on election day. Make a note of it.

I doubt that this will be a career changing issue for anyone in Congress.

I can't wait to hear the GOP campaign on repealing health care reform. That'll be a hoot!
