BJf, I have been told that I have an enormous vocabulary, was tested to have the reading level of a tenured college professor complete with PhD, I can read and understand legal language, and yet I STILL use a thesaurus - and a dictionary. To say that you do not NEED a thesaurus is prideful and vain. Remember that "pride goeth before the fall", "how the mighty have fallen", and that when your nose is in the air, you cannot see the ground - and when you cannot see the ground, you can trip over the smallest thing.

All of this being off the topic of the original post.

Now that she has converted to Roman Catholicism (2008), that makes her an expert, sort of like Newt since his 3rd marriage conversion. I mean let's listen to the USCCB rather then those pesky Catholic nuns because we know who really has their finger on the pulse of what people really think; sort of like how you see your doctors all the time when you are in the hospital, but those nurses, forget it!!!

Wellllll, that is the problem with the USCCB...they knew their priests had their fingers on things they shouldn't be putting their fingers on or in...and did nothing about it. Spent their time covering it up instead of correcting it. And the fact that the Pope was involved with similar coverups in Germany really doesn't give the male, Catholic religious leaders very much credibility.

Besides, this is just another perfect example of a bunch of men trying to control women. Really, who'd be better to judge womens health concerns, nuns or bishops?

Well I do know that this loser is not a Catholic. Nobody who votes for this bill is a Catholic. USCCB has stated that no Catholic in good conscience could support this monstrosity.

Laura asked him if he beliebed in Papal supremacy and he did not answer the question. That is a very simple three letter response for a real Catholic. This guy is a faux Catholic.

This bill contains abortion (page 2069). If you vote for the bill you support abortion. If you support abortion you are not a Catholic. PERIOD.

Heresies - You mean like betraying their "god" given trust and molesting children? Or do you mean betraying their "god" given responsibilities and covering up, excusing and protecting those that do molest children while ignoring the victims themselves? Or do you mean allowing yourself to be elevated to the highest position within your religion, to be God's vicar on earth, even though you have betrayed the most basic and powerful tenets of your faith, namely to lead, protect and teach your fellow followers, especially the most innocent among them, the children? Or do you mean like defying over two thousands years of your churches teachings and turning your back on the very foundations of trust and love that the founder of your religion preached?

Your sanctimonious attitude is sickening. You sit here and criticize and harp and accuse people of not being "Christian" or "Catholic" because they don't follow every tenet of your "beliefs" yet you say nothing about the very real and damaging actions of the leaders of your own church. How dare you accuse someone of not being "Catholic" enough when by your very silence about the hypocritical, criminal and immoral actions of the leaders of the Catholic church and their tacit endorsement of child molesters you are showing yourself to be nothing but a self-serving opportunist that wields your religious beliefs as a club? You are the very epitome of the arrogrant, self-righteous, morally bankrupt "religious" fanatic that is quick to point the failings in others while holding yourself as a supreme example of devoutness, even though your very actions and words show you do not have the slightest understanding of the very religion you profess you believe.

My Church is perfect. It has no flaws and it has never done anything wrong in 2,000 years - it was started by Christ and is Divine in its inception. There may be some bad men who were priests, but that is not a commentary on the teachings of the Church whatsoever.

It's truly unbelievable how these troglodytes go on Television and define who is a "good" Christian and who is not, based upon political positions. They use their own standards to judge others, but the only judge is God. Ingraham is bordering on blasphemy here.

Loving your neighbor and making sure he/she has access to healthcare is inline with everything that espouses Christian values. It is not only the Christian thing to do, but the Patriotic thing to do.

Bye the way Laura, lose the cross; we get it you are a "Christian"

"And when you pray, you must not be like the hypocrites; for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and at the street corners, that they may be seen by men. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you." Matt 6:5-6

Public display of religion was clearly not on Jesus' agenda. Why is it on yours?

Lie. It was the Communist guerillas in El Salvador did that. Fortunately Ronaldus Magnus aided the democatically elected government of El Savador in fighting these communist guerillas. The Nicaaguan Democratic Resistance were heroic freedom fighters trying to liberate their country and their people. Ronaldus Magnus got it right again in funding these heroic patriots.

Roberto D'Aubuisson was democratically elected. Daniel Ortega was not. Would you really rather live under a Sandinistra regime than ARENA? Rhetorical question.

Roberto D'Aubuisson ordered the assassination of Archbishop Romero and was behind the "Death Squads".

He was described by the US Ambassador as a "pathological killer".

You have no idea what being a "patriot" involves. You and the heroes you worship have perverted the concept to include murderers and assassins.

You've excused the assassination of the Archbishop saying he should not have been involved in politics in the same breath that you promote American bishops who've inserted themselves into the heath care reform debate in this country.

Your rhetorical question should have been "would you rather live under a Sandinista regime or die under an AREANA regime?".
