No. Pot meet kettle means that the two are equal...calling one out that they are the same. This is definitely not the case. Princess Sparkle Pony is nowhere near the leader that Obama is. Porsche meet Hyundai, maybe.

A good Reality TV idea would be one of those Spray on Bald Spot info-shows.
Yea, Sarah Palin pulls off her Wig, Shakes the Can & her Bald Spot just goes.
1.5 million a show? For Ms. Palin that idea just might be a goodie.

she's the most beautiful woman in politics. Much cuter than Pelosi. And, yes, she has experience getting policy through.

Obama has been president for over a year and still doesn't have any experience getting policy through. He is sure a slow learner. No wonder all he could do before this was be a soap-box rabble rouser for the residence of the slums. When he does something for the good of ALL people perhaps Palin (and others) will stop criticizing the experience that Obama has. But, that won't be likely, because Obama is a liberal and facts have shown liberals only care about themselves and say 'screw the rest of you'. What has Obama done to help this nation that Bush didn't already put into motion? That's right ... nothing. Let's see some progress, for a CHANGE. Heck, he can't even pass a national health care bill while having full control of the house and senate. What a non-experienced loser!

I mean, shoot, that $800B stimulus bill went NO WHERE, didn't it?

Man, if only Obama could have moved HCR bills as far a long as, say, Bill Clinton, right?

Thanks for providing further proof of what I said. Who was president when work was started on that stimulus package? I guess I'm not a complete nor a 1/2 moron. But you may want to read up on FACTS before spouting off next time. But if he gets the second stimulus package going, that would be his idea (albeit copied from Bush).

No, actually, President Bush was still president when they began creating the financial stimulus bill.

Congress gets seated in early January, a few weeks before the president get inaugurated. And at President-elect Obama's DIRECTION, the financial stimulus bill was crafted so that it could be passed by him as soon as was possible after he got inaugurated.

But Bush was still president when it was begun. But he didn't put it into motion, as Floyd asserted. That's a gross lie on Floyd's part. It was Obama and Democrats who made it happen. Not Bush. He was a placeholder for his last 2 months in office - that's all.

dell-- actually, President Bush was still president when they began creating the financial stimulus bill.

See? YOU people are the ones lying! Bush was president when the stimulus got started on, so Bush was responsible for it's creation, not Obama. As much as you people lie, you should be the ones called trolls. At least I offer truth in my reposnses, you people don't.

dell-- But Bush was still president when it was begun. But he didn't put it into motion, as Floyd asserted.

Yes, he did. Of course if you got something that says he wasn't president when work started on that stimulus package I would be interested in reading that proof. Do you have any proof of your claims or are they lies too? Or do you have proof that Obama crafted the stimulus package ... as you claim.

Of course I've noticed a distinct habit of dell posting rebuttals but never offering proof of her statements. It's as if we are supposed to take her word for it on reputation alone. Sorry, but her reputation is of someone who posts without the requirement of having to prove lies brought to the table. So, bring proof!

                      Bush's stimulus?

Oh you mean that round of tax rebates that, by your own source, utterly failed since people took their extra money and either saved it or used it pay bills? You do know that for economies to work, money must change hands, not put in the bank?

Obama's stimulus was a different animal aimed at creating jobs and unfreezing credit markets.

You people are truly a joke that keeps on giving. Any chance you have looked at the unemployment numbers lately - albeit Obama promised unemployment wouldn't go over 8% with "his" stimulus package (it's his when it reflects good while it's Bush's when it reflects bad, according to Leftists). And the stimulus sure has "unfrozen" credit markets hasn't it. Individuals and small businesses can't get loans because the Banks have tightened up their ridiculous qualification requirements to the point of requiring me to put 50% down on a small $150K second house!

Nobody cares what a political figure looks like, okay?

Of course, we'd never hear these things about a male politician... at least not by default (Scott Brown is the guy who saved the Senate from EVIL LIBRULZ first and a piece of meat second; Palin is a piece of meat first). But why can't anyone have a conversation about Sarah Palin without it eventually denigrating to "LOL, SHE'S HOT."

Don't you see how this is degrading to your own side? Do you truly, honestly want Sarah Palin to be "just another pretty face?"

I'm not sure if it's your taste or your attention to politics that I most need to question. I have great admiration for Sen. Klobuchar and Rep. Wasserman-Schultz, two name but two, and I thought Chelsea Clinton turned out very well indeed.

They just don't get substance, rtejon. And I agree about Wasserman-Schultz, but I heard her on the radio way before I saw her, and already thought she was damn sexy.

Bible Spice Palin is only sexy to those who like a very phony type of sexuality, preferably with the mute button on. She looks like John Boehners identical twin to me.

I don't think there's necessarily a partisan causal relationship between differing tastes but there does seem to be correlation. And while this isn't Palin's fault, there's something about her eyes that seem more like a void than any kind of "window to the soul."

Thanks, CanObv... I see that a lot here, and it always bothers me, when people use the "pot/kettle" response in that way. I think some have started to use it as shorthand for a situation that's the opposite of reality, but you're right; it implies that the two are comparable, and is actually flattering to Palin .

Apparently if you stare into the sun long enough, you go blind?

Apparently, at least in wingnut world, if you make the same assertion over and over and over and over and over and over again, eventually it magically turns into fact?

To be honest, soze169880, I'm not really sure.

Really? Because you've said you hated him several times, and not knowing him still somehow qualifies you to claim he is "uniquely evil" and "hates America". And by the way, you spent the past eight years saying that criticizing the president for any reason was treason.

Except that it has never been revealed - not once. Loathing and contempt are not the same things as hate.

My perspective on hated comes from St. Augustine. Hatred is more injurious to the soul of the holder of hatred than it is to the object of the hatred.

Brankly, Barry isn't worth hating. I would assign him more relevence that he deserves if I were to muster the effort (hatred does require effort) to hate him.

Barry is like something I scrape off the bottom of my shoe. I don't hate it - but I pay it no heed.

Its revealed often, BJF, like when you claimed the other day that there were more than 1.5 million at the 9/12 rally. Even Freedomworks had the number at half that.

Loathing isn't the same thing? Mr. Webster disagrees with you:

                        http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/loathe

                        Loathe

to dislike, be hateful, from lāth
to dislike greatly and often with disgust or intolerance.

If you didn't pay heed to Obama, you wouldn't be mentioning him so often, do you ever know what you're talking about?

I remember the number as being 1/20 of that. About 70,000 showed up for that rally, and that was an overestimate.

And the other half are when he ventures away from mere opinion and deals with actual facts... that are invariably wrong. This is followed by someone providing proof that he's wrong, whereupon he either (a) claims that the proof is wrong, which is wrong, or (b) disappears with his tail between his legs, only to come back on a new thread with the claim that he's never, ever been disproven.

                          Which is, of course, wrong.

I doubt you believed he was right about Iraq, since someone with political beliefs as strong as yours would have suited up and but his own ass on the line to show his president that he supported him.

Does he face up to it or does he run and hide? Why lie about taking the LSAT anyway? If he'll lie about that, what else will he lie about? Pretty much anything I'm guessing. After being caught in his lies, does he just disappear, spew more drivel, or own up to it and post an apology for being a lying a-hole?

you spent the past eight years saying that criticizing the president for any reason was treason.

How do you know what I have been saying for the past eight years? I blasted GWB for TARP. I criticized him as hard as any liberal ever has after he endorsed TARP and the AIG bailout. Those were disgraceful - and they were not capitalist. I have said that Bush is not a capitalist - he is a corporatist who believes in crony capitalism - not free market capitalism.

In hindsight I believe he was right about Iraq, but dead wrong about TARP and insane spending. I vehemently opposed Medicare Part D. GWB was a decent president for the first six years, but after 2006 he stopped listening to Cheney and his last two years were an unmitigated disaster. GWB's eight years were a mixed bag to say the least.

He said they found 14 155 mm shells filled with mustard gas, the mustard gas totaling approximately 49 litres and still at high purity and 50 deployed Al-Samoud 2 missiles (among the others WMD's that were veried).

mustard gas- not a weapon of mass destruction. used first in ww1 as a battlefield tool to kill troops on other side of line. problem was it tended to 'blow back' over to your side. it ended up being used more a tool of battle field terror- as most troops were terrified at the prospect. it was was a lot of things, but not a weapon of mass destruction.

What a load of BS. There was some mustard gas, but it was stored under UN control before the invasion. It had been turned over after the first Persian Gulf "war." No "high purity" mustard gas was discovered in Iraq that had been under Saddam's control.

There was also a report of one canister of mustard gas that had been improperly stored and rendered ineffective.

Iraq was not shown to have possessed any weapons of mass destruction.

That's hilarious. As soon as those were found Donald Rumsmfeld said "Let's not go jumping to conclusions." Sounded like an admission of guilt to me. We know Rumsfeld sold Saddam the mustard gas they used. So Bush finally said, Iraq had no weapons that we were led to believe they had. That was W#43 that said that. The weapons found were all reported and known about and Hans Blix didn't agree with your assesment either.

YOUR President? My President? No, BJF, both men were/are OUR President.

Don't ever try to take the high road again, you just left it.

7 years ago, OUR President led us on a hunt for WMD's which still haven't been located. Over 4000 of our best have died. Until Obama shows that kind of impatience and rush to judgment, I think he'll be much better that GWB.

To your point about "not running anything," thread after thread you champion a woman who left Wasilla in a tremendous amount of debt, but you admire her fiscal conservatism. That same woman hired a lobbyist to campaign for dollars for her small town, but you hate that type of politics.

Alaska also gets more federal money per capita than any other state, but yet you rail against big government and spending.

Which Palin should we admire, BJF, the words or the actions?

Well, before becoming president, Barrack Obama was editor of the Harvard Law Review, taught constitutional law, and was elected a U.S. Senator, one of the most distinguished positions in the world.

Sarah "The Quitter" Palin was a weathergirl, mayor of a tiny tiny little town, and almost served ONE WHOLE TERM as governor of Alaska. Not only is she not a constitutional expert, but she failed to name even one Supreme Court decision about which she had an opinion, aside from Roe V. Wade.

If you want to talk about running a business, George W. Bush failed at the oil business. In Texas. He couldn't even get elected president. He had to be appointed.

I understand that you don't like President Obama personally, Bobby Jindal fan, but you're getting a little shrill here.

I find it interesting that conservatives/republicans/john birchers/tea partiers are so concerned with Obama's supposed lack of "running a business skill" A rabble rouser, what a quaint term. It'a fact that your boy Bush's supposed business acumen ran the deficit up by a few trillion or so. Didn't his oil business also fail and had to be bailed out by a saudi family? Didn't he come close to driving the Texas Rangers into the ground? Wasn't it his father who raised taxes? Wasn't it his brother Neil who brought the Saving's and Loan's to their knees in the 80's? Didn't Bush also push thru a lg tax which only benefited a small but very wealthy few in this country? Oh and let's not forget the business of the Iraq war, now there is a successful business venture, for Haliburton! This stupid and shallow argument that Obama has no background in business is hollow. america is failing under the guise of corporate interests, you ppl seem to complain about lobbyist's in Washington but turn the other cheek when they sponsor all of your tea party bagging parties. So STFU with your lack of experience crap. Palin quit her job, because she's weak and self serving...no one with even half a brain gives a crap what she says, unless of course you're a Fox news follower, and that in itself speaks volumns

No...it's like walking a tightrope in a heavy wind while your enemies are bouncing rocks off you chest...and you're ducking the ones aimed at your head. It's no wonder Obama has had a difficult time passing health care reform, but I admire his focus and tenacity.

Republicans have been geared to obstruct from the moment Obama took office. I honestly believe they value right wing ideology greater than the welfare of the country.

She is less experienced. Prior to 1/20/09 he has ZERO executive experience. He has never run anything. He has never had a job in the private sector. The manager of the local McDonald's had more executive experience than he did prior to putting on his carnival show act and selling snake oil to the 52% of the population that are gullible idiots.

Sarah did an extraordinary job running a city and a state. She is FAR more experienced that a slimy community organizer.

Don't you ever get tired of not doing your homework:

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) – Sarah Palin is closer to landing a deal for a reality show.

Sources say A&E Networks and Discovery Communications want to acquire Palin's project, which focuses on the ex-governor giving a guided tour of her native Alaska -- visiting fishing boats and taking a trip to a gold mine, to cite a couple of examples. Mark Burnett is executive producer of the project, whose working title is "Sarah Palin's Alaska."

The former vice presidential candidate is asking for between $1 million and $1.5 million per episode, a hefty amount for a first-year cable series.

Palin initially pitched the show to broadcast networks. Given the show's laid-back nature theme and lack of high-stakes drama that tends to typify broadcast reality hits, industry executives see cable as a better fit.

              http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20100319/ts_nm/us_palin

The producer will be Mark Burnett, google him

And word is she was a pretty lousy mayor of said small town: $20M is a pretty enormous debt for a municipality of 6 or 7 thousand. I wonder if all the people who became Deeply Concerned deficit hawks on Jan. 20 '09 ever think about that.

          Presidents don't RUN anything.

They aren't managers. They make global decisions. They have a staff of at least 100 people JUST in the White House and many thousands more in the Cabinet and other Executive Branch offices to run things.

This ridiculous accusation that she has some superior experience because she was a very small town mayor and tiny state's governor with all kinds of federal dollars coming in and lots of oil money - it's baloney. It doesn't hold water.

Waaaay more difficult than running a town with a few thousand residents. Probably harder than being governor of Alaska for half a term, and maybe as hard as being president of the whole country. A THUG? You are speaking about President Obama as a THUG?

          Seriously? A THUG?

This is the problem here. These conservatives live in an insulated world of partisan hate. The President is human and therefore flawed like any one of us. One could even make exaggerations about his perceived negative qualities and be within the reasonable realm of rhetoric.

          However...
This THUG thing is part of a long line of "throw 'em out there and see what sticks" daily smears and insults manufactured to deepen the seed of hatred in the minds of the insulated right wing media consumer.

The goal is to keep the consumer at a constant state of fuming hatred for the opposition. This has three distinct effects:

          1) blind and unreasonable partisanship against the Democratic party and anyone outside of the narrow neo-conservative worldview
          2) causes the right wing media consumer to ignore and excuse the shortcomings and bad behavior of the republican party
          3) cloud or remove informed discourse and intelligent discussion from the table

By the way, just how is he a THUG? Give examples of THUGGISH behavior on the part of our President.

          So shameful and childish!

Palin should tell the Fuchs Noose viewers that the Alaska State Legislature is about to reverse her energy policy because it does not work. The changes Palin made when she was governor are causing the oil companies to stop the development of any new projects in the state. Remember that Palin is supposed to be an expert on energy policy. The Anchorage News Daily is a good source for information on how inept she was as the governor of Alaska.

Anyone who couldn't finish one term being a governor of the least populated state in the nation without quitting is incapable of, and unqualified to assess anyone else's qualifications and abilities. STFU, Palin. I detest seeing dumb on parade.

It's pretty funny to hear someone defend Sarah Palin having experience. We're talking about someone that allegedly worked for her husband's commercial fishing business. Oh, and she unrolled Alaska's largest budget ever while requesting more earmarks per capita than any other state. Then there was that Marxist approach to the people owning the means of production (oil) and getting fat checks by private enterprise.

Sarah "half term and run" Palin has about as much business commenting on Obama's experience and ability as president as a pile of moose droppings. And when someone says something is above someone's head, it's a case of projection overload. She couldn't handle Alaska without becoming entangled in a myriad of scandals, but Obama, who is 14 months as the president of all 50 states, is the one without the tools necessary to pass an agenda, despite being literally days from passing legislation over 50 years in the making.

What else can I say but, Sarah, please do yourself a favor and zip up your mendacious lips. You are in no position to offer insight on any subjects besides drafting resignation letters and transferring college credits.
