Republicans sure love their ass. You know, even though I'm liberal and lovin' it, I have ALWAYS liked coffee better than tea! How weird is that?!

What is even more pathetic is the reaction of the wingnuts who think that FOX is somehow "protecting" them from big government. These fools don't realize that corporate America, like their friends at FOX, are only in it for the money not because they are "great Americans." It is sad that such a large number of our fellow citizens have become absolute tools.

In what way is that not opinion broadcasting? I look forward to seeing this clip linked back to anytime anyone claims that Cameron is a straight news reporter.

Sounds like Cameron took a cue from Beck's chalkboard and the expanding oval argument. He can probably expand his oval to the bathroon to explain how he got there.

Wow, this guy had a preplanned, multi-pronged attack on "Obamacare" full of distortions, lies and omissions of relevant information. I wonder if Karl Rove wrote that bit for him and is blackmailing him, because no legit chief political correspondent should ever say anthing like that.

And then I have C-Span on in the background here, and Rep John Boehner JUST SAID that tomorrow is "Armageddon" for America. Omigod!

Yeah, but according to Mag, they aren't inciting violence. Republicans only card is fear and they continue to play it again and again and again.

It's kinda funny to hear these guys bemoan a bad bill which their political opposition to a large extent set the table for.

Yeah, it almost sounded like he was making the argument, "Y'know, if they really wanted to make a difference, they should have tried Single Payer."

Also, why would an industry that profitted $12 billion last year need to pass on cost of fines to consumers? I mean, I know they will, but why is that the government's fault?

You can't trust Fox News "journalists" to objectively report the News, once they have decided on the narrative. What is the narrative you asked? Simple: Republicans talking points. Talking points that originated from lies, destortion and misinformation. The same BS offered by Fox News' chief political correspondent Cameron.

I actually thought he was keeping it straight until the very end.

The Federal Government performs literally thousands of functions and they pick on a couple here and there to demonstrate how universally incompetent they are.

      Sad.

Do you really oppose helping someone that desperatly needs medical attention getting it? What if you were like most of us that earn $9.00 an hour and are taxed 30 to 40% of our wages in order to pay for the raping that G.W. Bush did to this country. I was able to get medical help for my childeren before he made sure that coorporate America squeezed every penny that it could out of us. There were jobs with Health Insurance before he became President. When he left office there was nothing but collapse and poverty for most Americans. I thank God for a President that actually cares if my childeren can live a healthy life or not. I thank God for a President that cares more about us than showing how much of a facist he is by flexing his military muscle to slaughter as much of the world as he can in order to feel like a man. Real men care more about people living healthy than killing and torturing them.

That made absolutely no sense - he is saying somehow that more customers for private insurance companies mean added cost for the companies when in reality, it means more profit for them or at least more money being handed to them. I dont know how stiff the regulations are exactly and i hope they are strong but no matter how you slice it, tens of millions of new customers for an industry cannot possibly be the worst thing in the world for them. And excuse me if i dont feel sorry for the industry that has been raping the american people for decades.

"You gotta ask yourself, well, how great do we think the federal government is at accomplishing its normal business?"

Did you ever notice that conservative politicians are the only people who say "If you give me stuff to do, I will do a worse job at it than somebody else"... and still get to keep their jobs?

Oh, it's sad when you are so spot on about the lunacy of the rightwingers in our nation, and it's so spot on that it makes me laugh when the emotion I'm really feeling is deep sadness!

Not sure I wrote the above in a way that's lucid....

I read what you wrote, and I laughed. But really, it makes me really sad that it's actually so true! It's not a joke, but it reads like a joke, because it's unbelievable that a political party could behave so badly.

Not long ago Catholic Charities offered medical care and never refused anyone. The church has since took a beating and had other legal ranglings to deal with. Now we will have huge insurance companies that will have won the favor of our American Government to be a third partyand make money in administrating health care. What part of that is free choice and does not bother anyone? This is a mess.
