I guess my station shows "This Week" on delay. I'm only just now seeing the segment begin at 11:32 EDT.

Who gives a damn if he did...? It means Barack Obama is a better politician than the Republicans are.

When a politcian derives personal gain from a deal that's corruption. When deals are cut to pass important legislation, that's the political process.

The bottom line is that it's the American people who benefit from this political battle.

Hey IRONY-101, When George H. W. Bush was practically throwing money out the back of the Limo when he was running for re-election against Bill Clinton, i don't recall George Will saying a word.

Neither do I...the hypocricy is deafening.

What kills me is that the guys who are acting outraged over alleged "deals" are media types who get to watch, up close, every day, how the sausage is made. Deal making is part of politics...no, it's an essential part of politics. The real question should be to what end...?

Yet another case of George Will blurting out disinformation on network tv, although his usual topic is climate change. When will ABC get rid of this guy?

I wouldnt believe this one no matter who was president. To think the president is trying to hold back water to americans for a vote in congress is absolutely insane no matter who the president or what the party. It is tantamount to death panels or setting up work camps or purposely blowing up the WTC. I wouldnt think obama would do that nor do i think bush would or anyone before him. Politics is a dirty game but purposely committing heinous acts of a despicable nature on innocent Americans by the president of the US for mere political gain never mind a single vote in congress, is not only extremely precarious and a violation of the office but it is defies all logic. Something like that could easily result in impeachment proceedings ie not at all worth the risk even for the most immoral or unethical of democratically elected leaders.

Will used to have credibility. I think he saw the big cars, houses and boats that liars are getting, and he wanted his stuff, too. He is a corporationalist all the way and sucks on the teat profusely. Enjoy, George Will, enjoy.
