We'll see. Personally, I think the "ass-kicking" will be less severe than it would have been had the bill not passed.

Agreed. Besides, I wonder what precisely Republicans are going to run on?
I can only believe that the Republicans will have to try to convince the country that they should go right back to where Bush left them.

Several times during the debate over the last couple of days in the House, several Democrats encouraged Republicans to campaign on repealing this bill. They told Republicans to go right ahead and say that they want to eliminate the prohibition on denial of coverage because of pre-existing conditions, for example. Please do, they were told.

And that's what we need to get the media to cover. I'll do my part.

The Republicans and Tea Baggers are really going to get REALLU ugly over the next few months - a major turn off factor to independents. I don't think the losses are going to be as severe as what the media believes.

One has to ask... if this is true, why didn't the Republicans just sit back and let it pass?

One of the interesting things about this entire situation is how the Republicans put all their eggs in one basket, so to speak. David Frum really nailed it when he called this the Republican Waterloo. They bet against Obama and they lost - big time. I think we could have ended up with a better bill if the Republicans had agreed to play ball, but instead they chose to sit on the sidelines and wait for the pitcher to fall of the mound. Republicans have themselves to blame for this situation, but I know few will have the self-awareness to see it.

Indeed, we all have observed republicans for too long to think that they will accept that their philosophy has failed. They'll blame their inability to get elected on ACORN and teh liberal media. Hopefully, these self-deceptions will merely comfort them, and not cause them to take up arms against the will of the majority.

Beck, like most of these hate mongers, completely overlook and ignore the millions of voters who will benefit from affordable healthcare coverage. Do they really believe these people will hold healthcare legislation against the Demoncrats... or Obama? How stupid can you be?

Race-baiting and fear mongering didn't work in 2006, 2008, or now in the 2009-2010 healthcare debate. Why's it gonna work now? How are Republicans going to appeal to minority voters while deploying the angry old white racists in Tea Party to do their bidding?

We were told over and over and over that 2008 was gonna be an ass-kicking. How'd that turn out?

People from all directions say Glen Beck has mental issues. There is a mental condition where a person finds people to be friends with for the purpose of leading them into a trap, and or death. It starts in childhood.Could this be Glen Beck leading his friends the republicans,so-called conservatives, and teabaggers into a trap?Crash and burn may not be crash and burn for Glen Beck, but insted his greatest victory. The result of careful planing by a particular mental disorder.

Interesting. I was under the impression Beck opposed the health care bill.

I ugess what Beck is saying now amounts to this:

So, here is Glenn Beck, threatening violence overtly against the government. Any defenders? Anyone?

Glenn? There are lots and lots of Americans, red blooded patriotic country lovin' Americans, who work much much harder than you do, and receive little to no pay compared to your cushy lifestyle. You're not an everyman. You're barely a man at all. What you are is a whiny, petulant, ignorant child.

Don't know if you noticed it or not, Glenn, but you made one of the funniest statements ever all your own: We're all rugged individuals together against the will of the majority of Americans! Yep, the 70,000-odd fools who followed you on 9-12 to a protest you didn't even attend will find out that their voice, while loud, has very very little effect on elections. Didn't stop health coverage reform, didja? Nope. So, change the story, re-write history. Now you're GLAD the health reform bill passed, because it will mean a clean sweep in November. Right? But that was just as true Friday, when you still thought you had a chance to defeat this reform. When you said that the problems wouldn't be caused by the teabaggers, good obedient mindless little drones that they are. Except, the only problems the police had to deal with came from your group, Glenn. The morans who listen to you and believe whatever you say, though you are an uneducated liar.

You lost. And you're crying about it. In public. What a pitiful display of bad sportsmanship.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Beck was screeching for months about how this health care bill MUST NOT PASS! He told his zombie followers that they needed to call and write their representative to DEMAND that they not vote in favor of this. Well it passed and now Glenny is having a fit. "You'll pay in November!" he bellows! He acts like he speaks for America. We'll see if there is an "ass whipping of epic proportions" or not. But somehow I don't think the wingnuts are all that numerous as Glenny likes to believe.
Beck is a whining little man-child whose paranoid fantasies make him into a babbling fool. Only the truly stupid follow him. So go ahead Glenny and have your little temper tantrum. Nobody really cares.

I was there on Saturday, I saw your folks in action. They are loud, rude, uninformed, and they were trying to get their way through bullying....just like you. It lasts for a while, but they will get tired and they will give up and move on to the next thing to get them wee-weed up.....just like you. Now, will they take you along, or will they get bored? I'm betting you will wear out your welcome pretty soon. You can't keep hiding your contempt for them from them forever, you don't lie that well, Glennie.
