I guess Patrick Kennedy loves his country as much as you do, Glenn.

      Except Kennedy's tears were real.

Of course. Beck feels free to mock actual tears because his own are fake. Real men only cry fake tears.

He just loves his country, Becky. The difference is, Kennedy doesn't fear for it. Now be a good boy and go play with your dollhouse.

Awwww. What's wrong, little Glenn? Afraid someone else might steal your shtick? Why don't you go ahead and Trademark it? And patent it? And bottle and sell it? Because I have a feeling that your days of media relevance are about over.

Now! New and Improved! Glenn Beck's phony tears of genuinely outraged patriotism! Comes with flag and Bible! Pretend you really care, but insist on the best! Only Glenn Beck's Phony Tears will do!

Patrick Kennedy is basically a boob. But his tears here were obviously real. Health care reform was important to his father. So Beck was even a bigger boob for mocking him.

I think MMFA should offer a Middle Finger, that I might use now & then ;-)

Glennie, I was there at the Capitol on Saturday when your wound up Beckerheads hit the joint. They were loud, they were rude, and sometimes, they were just plain crazy! What do you have to say about that. My husband and I were polite and respectful and we were treated well by the staffers who cheered visibly when we expressed our support for the bill. And guess what, the calls were running about 50-50. So much for ignoring the will of the people.

Former New York Times reporter Chris Hedges trashes the health care bill from the perspective of the Left. He writes:

"The claims made by the proponents of the bill are the usual deceptive corporate advertising. The bill will not expand coverage to 30 million uninsured, especially since government subsidies will not take effect until 2014. Families who cannot pay the high premiums, deductibles and co-payments, estimated to be between 15 and 18 percent of most family incomes, will have to default, increasing the number of uninsured. Insurance companies can unilaterally raise prices without ceilings or caps and monopolize local markets to shut out competitors. The $1.055 trillion spent over the next decade will add new layers of bureaucratic red tape to what is an unmanageable and ultimately unsustainable system. . . . Take a look at the health care debacle in Massachusetts, a model for what we will get nationwide. One in six people there who have the mandated insurance say they cannot afford care, and tens of thousands of people have been evicted from the state program because of budget cuts."

Of all people to mock Kennedy. Perhaps Glenn forgets what it means to cry real tears. In the words of Jeffrey Lebowski "strong men also cry..strong men also...cry". Difference is one crying is a relief that a dream that started 50 years ago is achieved and the other is nothing but a blathering idiot.
