Limbaugh says health reform was "about fundamentally wrecking and destroying" America "as it was founded"

-Africans were property and only counted as 3/5 of a person.
-Women had no power other than to make babies, make food, and clean.
Americas was founded by the educated elite-the class that conservatives rail against so hard.
So no, we aren't going wrecking that on which America was founded-if anything, we're realizing it.
In arguing against Obama's plan, Rush forwarded the idea of covering 12 million people for a "smidgen" of the cost of the stimulus. It actually wouldn't be a small amount, of course, and threaten to bankrupt the country without the requisite serious insurance reforms the Democrats made. Regardless, Rush promoted a massive entitlement expansion program as an alternative to Obamacare - just like Republicans did with Medicare Part D. For them, it's not about good governance and conservative principle - if only it were! - but rather about power and its abuse.
