Until Rupert Murdoch gets the message that undermining our Republic isn't going to make him $$$$ anymore.

And that, my friends, is a question that remains unanswered.

If this was a punch in the face, president bush must have beat the living crap out of us with a baseball bat and at that time, we didn't have the health insurance to pay for the ER visit.

Don't warn him that around December 1903 the plane will quit flying.

The President, he has just punched you in the face (with health care reform), he has kicked you in the groin, he has stabbed you in the back, he has cracked your skull and broken both your thumbs and also took a pipe to your kneecaps...

Congratulations, you are now in the "high risk" category of privately insured persons, whose illness or injury is too expensive to treat and still make a profit on.

We regretfully inform you your private insurance coverage has been cancelled.

Actually, despite all those injuries under the new law his insurance could not be cancelled.

That's right! He's taken away your right to have your insurance canceled when you need it most, your right to pay out of pocket when you've reached your insurance limit, and your right to be denied insurance because of a pre-existing condition.

Of course Becky the multi-millionaire doesn't need to sweat the small stuff like insurance or medical costs--he's got his and that's all that really matters.

After watching this clip, I realized how tired I am of hearing Beck tout the Founding Fathers as this group of seemingly infallible, godlike group. There is no question that these men were great, but each of them carried around their fair share of baggage. Many of them didn't even like each other. He makes them appear so absolutely one-dimensional and single-minded in their goals, when any one who bothers to pick up a history book could easily tell you they were far from it. Not really on topic but just needed to vent a bit.

This beck, he is going overboard in making the Founding Fathers into saints and gods, but only so that he (beck) can, by constantly using their names in vain, appear saintly and godlike himself.

It's low stuff, it has always been the bane of religion (hence the Commandment against taking the LORD's name in vain), and it plagues us in politics too, where the flag is waved and wrapped around these con artists, so that they may appear patriotic by association.

That's beck I think, and his overblown use of this particular con, he's wanting to appear patriotic by association, even saintly and godlike, and so he makes saints and gods out of mere men, men whom he professes to admire and honor and worship and love, making him (beck) worthy of comparison to them, by association.

It's low stuff, it's even ancient, it plagues us in religion and politics both.

Almost by definition, an "irrational fear" or "irrational suspicion" is a fear or suspicion of something that does not even exist, or otherwise is an impossibility.

There are no operations in the works or even plans on the drawing board, for an armed insurrection or rebellion against the United States, "Maoist" or whatever.

      Sorry.

Bwahaha! And they say Glenn Beck isn't funny.

p.s. Didn't Beck start by lauding the Founding Fathers, who actually started a violent revolution, and then end by decrying anyone who would mount a revolution?

I'd like to personally thank every Fox personality who makes more than $250,000 a year, because you'll be contributing to the health care costs for the rest of us.

Don't think of it as getting punched, Glenn - think of it as smooches from the millions.

No Glenn, it's angry, rich, old, white, uber-conservative, uber-religious males like you whose faces Obama slapped. The rest of us got a good, albeit incomplete, dose of what we wanted when we voted for him. I can see that it's a real bummer for you and your ilk though.

I liked how he managed to talk about how horrible democrats are for considering "armed revolution" (won't even get into how ridiculous that is) and then talk about how amazing the founding fathers (actual armed revolutionists) were. Does he even think when he speaks?

Um, no, Glenn -- that sensation you're getting is simply the result of you butting your head repeatedly against the walls of your padded cell.

But don't worry, the men in white jackets will be along shortly; they'll give you something to help you sleep . . .

Glenn - Do you really think it's a good idea to preach a political philosophy of "radical, revolutionary" change rooted in righteous rebellion and use the Constitution as your roadmap? Those men, Glenn, whose history you have all but shattered in misguided nostalgia, whose very connection to the essence of our country you've confused with that of the framers of the Constitution, stood for a poetic, passionate uprising of spirited men stuck on the concepts of innate, unbreakable freedom, on the Jeffersonian republicanism of the Declaration of Independence, not the Hamiltonian hope at half-mast, the Constitution. You should really follow your own lead in this case and head down to your local public library and check out some books on the Enlightenment. It must be embarrassing to be so comfortably ensconced by the belief that the perpetually bureaucratic baseline of the Constitution will somehow propel an uninformed public into a political paradise. With Bush, the Left said we were headed toward a theocratic military-industrial gulag of a country, and now four years and twenty simultaneous marketing campaigns selling hollowed out, hippie-dippie, no-time-but-now hope later, we're headed toward a liberal fascist inquisition. It hurts to think that people don't see through this. I'm not saying you don't believe what you're saying, Glenn, because in most cases I will admit that there is an almost too-true ring of "two-chapters-into-the-book-and-I'm-an-expert" paranoia in your voice, and there is some validity to the questions you raise, sometimes, but this is just ridiculous.

Beck: "[T]he president" has "just punched you in the face with health care"

This fool is saying that the founding fathers were god-like, while he called everybody currently in governmental office right now MARXISTS!

He know nothing about actual history. The founding fathers were MEN and even they made mistakes! How about screwing poor whites, black slaves, and indians after the signing of the Constitution huh Becky?

I am not a fan of the health care bill, because it was over 2,000 pages long and I read some things that were good and I read some things that were bad. It passed and I am proud it was a start, but let continue. Let make it a single-payer system.

Keep in mind that, according to Beck's religion, the Native Americans got what they deserved. According to the Mormon Fairy Tales, Native Americans have dark skin as a sign of God's punishment for the evil deeds of their ancestors.

Well at least it's been downgraded from nuked in the face then from shot in the face then from slaughtered in the face to punched in the face. By the time citizens get around to really enjoying thie bill, Beck will be calling it something like a friendly caress in the face.
