I'll believe the Congresspeople involved before I'll believe a lying, drug-addled bigot.
I guess the Capitol Police arresting the spitter doesn't count as evidence.
Limbaugh really wants to ramp it up. You get the feeling he won't be happy until someone is violently attacked.
And to those who threaten Limbaugh: prosecute to the fullest extent possible.
There IS evidence, of course. But the far rightwing is trying to pretend that the absence of audio and video evidence is the evidence that it never happened, and that's ridiculous.
Doesn't that damn Limbaugh know that we can just say that it happened and whether it did or not, doesn't matter. it's just the allegation. And why would any government official lie?
I vote Limbaugh, since lying is his profession.
As pointed out below, Cantor, Steele, and Boehner all admitted that this did indeed take place. So, again, which is more likely? That Rush is ignorant/lying, or that the Capital police and three top Republicans are lying to make teabaggers look bad (as if they needed any help with that)?
Blimpy blathering about "no evidence" is the height of hilarity, since there is no evidence to back up 99.9% of the bullsh*t he belches out on a daily basis.
I hate to see them reproduce . . .
I'd hate to WATCH them reproduce ... :-)
People SAYING that something happened is EVIDENCE, you fool.
Limbaugh claimed that there was NO EVIDENCE. There is evidence, though. Just because there isn't audio or video evidence doesn't mean that there's not any evidence!
How did you miss that? Are you really that reading comprehension-impaired that you couldn't understand this? I swear....
/snark
Of course not.
Just as Glenda Beck was "offended" that Rep. Lewis would DARE to "compare" himself to Civil Rights workers of the '60s by linking arms with his fellow Dems . . . despite the fact that, um, Lewis WAS a Civil Rights worker in the '60s.
As the saying goes: "there are none so blind as those that refuse to see."
Or are you saying, Rush, that several Congressmen are LYING about hearing it? Unless you're saying that they're lying, then there IS evidence, Rush.
And what was that he growled out at the end of this sample? "We have to shut them down...." What does that mean?
lying POS.
Except that a Congressman's brother's home was put in jeopardy today with a cut gas line. And one of the guys who posted the brother's address online - what does HE say?
Danville Tea Party leader Nigel Coleman was one of the two activists who posted Bo Perriello’s address online Monday.
"This is Rep. Thomas Stuart Price Perriello's home address," Coleman wrote Monday. "I ain't holding back anymore!!"
According to the Danville Register & Bee site, when Coleman learned that the address actually belonged to the congressman's brother, he responded on a blog: "Do you mean I posted his brother's address on my Facebook? Oh well, collateral damage."
Coleman told The Daily Progress today that he is "shocked" and "almost speechless" at the possibility that someone would sever the propane line to Perriello's brother's house.
"I obviously condemn these actions," he said. {Why would it be 'obvious' to anyone that you condemn these actions, based upon your behavior?} "I would hope that people aren't thinking about doing anything crazy. We just wanted people to get close to the congressman and have their voices heard. Violence is not going to answer anything. I'm a little shocked and amazed."
Coleman added that he is not certain that the incident is related to the posting of the home's address. "Of course, we don't know this is a related event," he said. {Of course, it's just a coincidence!}
More likely they will say it was democratic plant - or the brother did it himself. All to cast dispersions on people other than those peace loving teabaggers...
Enjoy your interview with the FBI, Mr. Coleman.
Michael Vanderboegh, an Alabama blogger, called the [Arizona Daily] Star after the story went online to say he's been asking his readers to break windows in government offices across the country.

Didn't at least ONE news organization capture it on video?
