        "speak truth to power"?

Please try "speak rationally" for a change.

      "Feel sorry"?

It's got nothing to do with sorrow, and everything to do with concern, concern for the level of anger hatred and violence these people, hannity beck limbaugnh etc, are egging their strange and politically minor following on to, a following too minor to Democratically effect their strange public policy ideas, but not so minor they can't shout and hurl insults and bricks and who knows what next!

And this girl in the video, and her "feel sorry" crap, she and the guy hannity right there with her, are doing nothing but evading any and all responsibility for whatever might happen next, by both minimizing the anger and hatred they are provoking, and then blaming others for it, like beck does, where he keeps talking about being "poked" and prodded and provoked.

It's got nothing to do with "feeling sorry" and everything to do with a genuine and real concern for safety.

Rachel Maddow played some of the Stupak voicemails on her show tonight. They were absolutely hair-raising. Hannity would not dare to play one on his show.

Link to that part of said show.

I agree, Hannity definitely wouldn't play that audio on his show. He would lose his entire point of downplaying the threats. How people say stuff like this then turn right around and claim to be loyal faithful followers of Christ, I will never understand. Christ facing those who would torture and torment him still wouldn't say stuff like this. Seeing his enemies chop the ear off of his closest follower, he still didn't react like this. Yet, they call themselves being Christ like by doing stuff like this.

People should be 'progressively' happier as they are deprived of the fruits of their respective labor via the coercive force of government?

Maybe he missed the part about bricks through Democrats windows in several different locations? Must of been snoozing when news broke about Dem's being spit on and called racial and homophobic slurs to their faces. Maybe out playing a round of golf and missed the part about the gas line being cut at a Democrat's BROTHER's house after his brother's address was posted online by some conservatives. Guess all the threats about brandishing guns and cleaning rifles didn't make it through the wax in his ears. So we can't blame him that he only heard about a few angry voice mails. He can't be held accountable for down playing violence or ignoring threats if he hasn't heard about them. Just like we can't be held accountable if he happens to slip, fall, and bust his chin on slick grease spot in the parking lot on the way to his car after a long, hard day of delivering the news.

        "homophobia" is laughably fictitious.

        moralphobia, however, is rife.

"Angry voicemails"? Who is this idiot?

The vandalism began last weekend, when the House debated the health bill for final passage. In Wichita, Kan., someone broke the window of a storefront county Democratic Party headquarters with a brick that had "No to Obama" and "No ObamyCare" written on it. Lyndsey Stauble, executive director of the Sedgwick County Democratic Party, said she came to work Saturday morning to clean up the shattered glass strewn about her desk.

"It was surprising and alarming to know that people, when they have so many opportunities for expression in this country, that somebody would resort to a brick," Stauble said.

Over the next 24 hours, thrown bricks shattered the glass doors and windows of party headquarters from Rochester, N.Y., to Cincinnati. A gas line at the Charlottesville, Va., home of the brother of Rep. Tom Perriello, D-Va., was severed Tuesday after a self-identified tea party activist posted what he believed to be the Virginia Democrat's address on a Web site and urged opponents to "drop by" to convey their opposition to his yes vote on health care.

Rep. Louise Slaughter, D-N.Y., had a brick thrown through her Niagara Falls district office and received a threatening voicemail referencing sniper attacks. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, D-Ariz., had the front door to her Tucson district office shattered. Rep. Bart Stupak, D-Mich., whose last-minute negotiations to bar federal funding of abortion helped secure the bill's passage, received a fax with a drawing of a noose and an anonymous voicemail saying, "You're dead. We know where you live. We'll get you."

I wonder how Ms Cupp would feel if any one of these things happened to her or her family. I also wonder if perhaps all the inflammatory rhetoric spewed on the Fox News network 24/7 is monitored by one of those agencies you never hear about.

To see their own push for warrantless wiretapping come back to bite them in their own behinds would be irony in all it's glory.

Talking about over throwing the government could be considered terror talk, no? They've got reason enough to start tapping them RIGHT NOW according to Bush's arguments. All joking aside, even though the media elites aren't being tapped (face it, we all know they aren't going to DO anything, just hope their average joe listeners will do it), the people threatening to come with their rifles if government doesn't do what they want need to be tapped. Alabama militia guy has probably been profiled already. Their next move will be known before they can even think it up. If they actually wanted to hurt somebody, the dumbest thing they could've done was get on tape talking about their rifles are ready. Rifles? Really? To paraphrase OutKast's Babylon: "Hick, they made them gats. They got some sh#t that'll blow out your backs. From where they stay at."

I've been trying to think of something to type...but I can't think of anything. There's no level that these people will not stoop to. I cannot for a minute imagine that she thinks that threatening the life of a senator is acceptable just because she "claims" that she gets them too. She's no important enough to get real threats of violence or anything like that.

These Republicans, Conservatives and of course FoxNews Network don't get why Democrat Members of Congress are scared of a few nasty phone calls about HCR because they ALL created the FEAR for their Right-winged, Conservative, Republican Base. Hmmm, remember when Keith did his report about how Bill O'Reilly and FoxNews Network worked up those right-to-life folks that targeted the American Doctors for doing their "LEGAL" jobs? Wow, a Network with high ratings can say (report) ANYTHING, and get away with it without ANY consequences at ALL. To have high ratins MUST be nice, huh? Umph, umph, umph. LOL.

Please explain your grasp of the phrase "right to life" as you have used it. Then contrast that with "life, liberty" in the constitution. Lastly compare "right" to "legal".

I'll ask the question that I'm sure most people were asking themselves when they read the title of this video...who the h*ll is S.E. Cupp? And considering that most people have never heard of this lady, I doubt she gets very many voice mails at all.

I wonder if Hannity will ever be able to get a right winger to come on his show that has some relevance.

The three central principles of the right wing creed:

      1. If it is happening to someone else, it doesn't matter.

      2. Claims of injustice are never true.

      3. Anyone who is being treated badly needs to just shut up and take it.

Listen to the rhetoric you hear from the right and you'll be surprised how much of it reduces to these general principles.

Death threats? Why should I care, when I didn't threaten anyone? It's not true that anyone was threatened, anyway. And stop being such crybabies.

You getting threats and an elected congressman getting threats and their gas line cut and a brick thrown through their office window and their family getting threats is quite a difference, We all know these lunatics are armed.

Of course she's glad idiots out there are angry. That will disguise the fact that she is only on this show because she slept with several people just to get hired. She has nothing to offer in the form of intellect. She is just another ignorant airhead, spouting the party line without a clue as to what she is saying.

How many liberals would Hannity blame if he got voicemails threatening his kids? I bet that he wouldn't think its a laughing matter nor would he appreciate it if someone downplayed it as a "sob story" because they get threats as well. Slaughter's own kids have been threatened with violence and conservatives couldn't care less. What will they do when bombs go off and shots are fired?

Hannity: "More sob stories coming from liberals about being shot at and their cars blown up."

Couple things here: First of all, where is proof of this claim that the HC bill will bankrupt the country? Ms. (or Mrs., God speed to whoever has to deal with her 24/7) Cupp, you claim proof and video has to be shown of your precious teabaggers saying the N-word to members of the black caucus, so why don't you get off your lazy you-know-what and show us proof of how this bill will bankrupt the country? Instead of ordering people around to do things for you, like you probably did with your daddy when you got that very difficult Art History major (which somehow propelled you to be a far-right political commentator with ZERO education in politics), go do your own bit of research and actually put effort into reading the bill and proving your baseless claims. It also doesn't help your credibility when you claim to be an Athiest, but because you want to copy everyone else in this country who are "Judeo-Christian" with their beliefs and morals, you jump on that bandwagon so that if you commit any sins you can get off on a clean slate because you claim to be a Christian.

And, second, it's not JUST that these congressmen/women received some voicemails... they also had their offices damaged by pellet guns and bricks, including gas lines cut and vandalizing of a family member of a congressman's home. So, as usual with your lies, you only point out part of the story. You have ZERO sympathy for people who you disagree with, but all the people who are violent, which you claim nobody condones, you still say that you're "glad" they are angry. If I had the chance, I would love to give this broad a piece of my mind. She is simply an abominable person... she wreaks contempt and thinks she is superior to everyone else. And people like her think the liberals are elitists with their higher education? At least, they have something to show for their success and use it towards a career that is productive. You're major doesn't even suit your supposed job.
