When they take your loud mouth of the air and throw you in one of our liberal gulags, I'll cede the point. Until then, you're still making millions for legally selling ignorance, fear and dishonesty.

Whoopi Goldberg had it right on a few clips before this when she mentioned that these guys - Beck, Limpy and FOX - aren't out throwing bricks or cutting gas lines. They are inciting other people to do these deeds. Those folks will end up in jail, not the men on high.

This thing is already out of control. Even arresting people will not stop the crazy. Anyone arrested will be lionized by wingnut central and considered a martyr.

I think it's already too late.

As his hero Ronald Reagan once misspoke: "Facts are stupid things"

The anger in his voice speaks volumes.

Is this guy for real? No sense of irony at all that must be a trait deep in Conservative DNA.

well for sure no one expected Rush to take on a shred of responsibility for his role in the current hate atmosphere...the right wing preaches but never actually practices responsibility.

Hey, Blimpy... let's dig up some tapes of how you and your Hate Radio Spawn reacted to dissent from the left when we invaded Iraq. You didn't even pretend that they were a physical threat; you just straight out accused them of treason... for dissenting.

So, why don't you just sit back and enjoy a big cup of STFU!

Spitting on noted civil rights leaders and calling them the n- word while others hurled the F_____ word at Barney Frank and his partner constitutes a riot in my eyes. So the last time I saw conservatives mounting a riot was Sunday. Is anyone surprised that "Jabba the Rush" is egging on the "Timothy McVeigh" wing of the Tea Party?

"When is the last time you can recall a bunch of conservatives disrupting a Congressional hearing?" Gee, you're right, Rush. I have to go all the way back to Sunday's vote in the House, when teabaggers disrupted the vote, and then fought with ushers who were trying to escort them out of the gallery, and were applauded by Republican Representatives.

      Criminalize dissent?

More projection. Anyone else remember the "protest zomes" at the Republican Convention? Or anti-war protestors being labeled as traitors and un-American?

      I do.

Call me a bleeding heart, but in "MY AMERICA," threatening to assassinate the children of political opponents is terrorism, not dissent.

This is obviously a sensitive point with these people, that they should be so defensive about it.

Good, I like it when liars and thieves show you where they are vulnerable, it means we should hammer away and pound them in those places.

I love that the party who's chairman is the "they pelted me with Oreo cookies" guy is now claiming the other side makes up racial attacks. And Rush, go talk to G Liddy about openly discussing how to assassinate government agents. Or maybe Palin "reloading" and "putting targets" on congressional democrats. Maybe you could talk to Beck about "open revolution" against the current administration. Hell, I won't even go into some of the over the top stuff Savage has promoted. What an idiot.

I have an idea for keeping people like Rush, Hannity, Beck, and Savage honest. And I'm not talking about reinstating the Fairness Doctrine.

The FCC should institute a "Truth in Broadcasting" Doctrine. Every radio and television broadcast must only send out truthful information. If they broadcast anything that can be proven false, they have seven days to issue a retraction over the air - not simply by placing small print on a web site. If they don't retract the false information, the person who broadcast the false information will be fined $1,000 for each radio or TV station that carried the program. In the case of cable channels like Faux News, they would be fined $1,000 for each satallite or cable company that carries the program.

Do you think it would work????

Rush says threats against Democratic lawmakers are "contrived." Where is his evidence? Will he apologize if someone actually gets hurt or killed by a tea partier or other opponent of healthcare reform? (I know, that's a stupid question.)

I agree with what Whoopi said today on The View. The rhetoric and hate must be dialed down.
