The only time Sean Hannity gets Yanked is when his Dentist pulls a Tooth.
Fox News is the Tea Party, is there anyone left that needs more proof?
Mr. Hannity's only goal in life is to Mis-inform the Masses.
This is done by the Anchors of Fox dropping their Drawers & showing the World their Asses.

      Speak truth to power.

Are you Embarrassed Sean? Humiliated? Elighten us, because "The Poet" & MMFA would like to know.

IF Fox news should be held accountable as a political organization so should MMFA and SEIU, they all have a political agenda, they aren't news organizations, and they say whatever they have to promote their policies.

Do either MMFA and SEIU purport to be news organizations? No. Fox does, and it's not a news organization, it is simply a propaganda mill. Big difference.

Most issues have at least 2 sides. The news media anymore try to focus on whichever side supports their agenda. Fox is more likely to report more from the conservative side than any other "news" agency. MSNBC, CNN, ABC, CBS, NY Times, etc continue to report from the liberal/ socialist side of news that has the White House stamp of approval. So my question is- When the media fails to objectively air differing views of an issue by purposely excluding or misrepresenting, is this not the equivalent of false reporting?
There is much chatter here regarding Rupert Murdoch.
MMFA would never objectively report on the dealings of George Soros.
Oh yeah, he bankrolls this site.
News Corp is the last best hope for the "watchdog media" in America.
Ratings don't lie. If you buy the Soros propaganda arms, you will be rudely awakened this November. It's about time.
          God Bless America.

Good parody. Now let's shorten it a little. Any factual reporting is "liberal." so just admit that all those non-Fox media outlets occasionally do some reporting and are therefore, liberal.

"I am so glad you all watch these a**holes so we don't have to! Thank you Media Matters and all who support them"- lovetobeliberal (posted below)

Cass Sunstein wrote an interesting article about self-sustained paranoia, it fits the MMFA mold very well.

"...Group members may engage in a kind of double-think, segregating themselves, in a physical or informational sense, in order to protect their beliefs from challenge by outsiders. Even if the rank and file cannot coherently do this, group leaders may enforce segregation in order to insulate the rank and file from information or arguments
that would undermine the leaders’ hold on the group." - Cass Sunstein/Adrian Vermeule

        Prophetic.

It doesn't matter whether SEIU, MMFA, or Fox News are 'news' organizations. Their are NO laws prohobiting them from reporting it as they see it. If they promote a specific political agenda that is their perogative. You have to have a subscription but here is a good article on the topic. I don't happen to agree with the article's conclusion but it makes several interesting points. One of which is the fact that media bias has existed in this country since its inception. IT IS NOT NEW[s](Pun intended)!

Burns' implication that FOX should be held accountable is nigh unto a declaration of State Controlled media in my opinion. FOX news is not accountable to anyone but its viewers, its shareholders, and its owners. As it should be. Fox news is the opposition media, and they appeal to the largest group of consumers, why would they change that busness model?

I've said it here before, and I guess I'll say it again:

How is it that Fox News still gets to call itself a News organization when it's clearly anything but that? There should be a law that says that if all you do is lie and spout political propaganda, you've got to be up front about that. The FCC should force Fox News to put a disclaimer up before every show that spells out how many times that show has lied to it's audience.

"Warning: the following show has been caught in a lie xxxx number of times since going on the air."

We force TV shows to warn children that there might be sex or violence in a show? Why not let force Fox News to warn it's viewers about all the lies it's told?

Or at least "The following is a paid political advertisement for the Republican Party." That would satisfy me.

when robert said fox had a "political slant", he was being kind.

in actuality, they have become a 24/7 cabal that is creating, managing and promoting "three separate" conservative opposition parties to obama:

      1. they employ 3 potential "REPUBLICAN" presidential candidates.

      2. they employ the founder of the "9/12" party.

      3. they employ the de facto leader of the "tea-party."

they use the power of their network to spread the agenda of these three opposition groups with most of their hosts in their straight and opinion shows.

never before in the history of this great country have we seen a news outlet so deeply involved in actually running several political parties.

        Mr. Burns,
It is amazing to that you could say with a straight face that Fox was a political operation when you were talking with MSNBC, the biggest political operation in this country. You can't tell me that MSNBC is a news organization. They are so far left and have been promoting far left political ideals for decades. Do you forget that during the 8 years of the Bush administration, Mr. Obermann and Ms. Maddow demonized the Bush administration unmercifully. How many times did you write about that? How often did Media Matters criticize the coverage of the Bush administration by the far left media? HMMMM....none, I bet. Probably justified everything that came out of their mouths. But as soon as any conservatives get in an uproar that their civil liberties and freedoms are slowly being taken away and this gov't is slowly taking over ever aspect of the lives of each and every American, and growing uncontrollably too large, they are deemed hate mongers. I distinctly remember during Bush's administration when Democrats were being criticized for speaking against Bush, Hillary Clinton said it was the American way to stand up against our leaders and it was okay to question what was going on. The Democrats were doing the same thing the conservatives are doing now, demonizing the Bush administration, promoting hatred and that was okay. Did you speak out against the liberals then?...No, you sure didn't. But once a liberal president takes office and anybody that stands in his way is automatically deemed a hate monger, racist, or tea bagger. C'mon Mr. Burns....let's be fair in your reporting. There are no such thing as 'News Organizations' anymore. They are either left political operations, or right 'Political Operations'. No one reports News anymore and that includes your political operation.

I think the Bush administration didn't need any help regarding demons. Always with the false analogies. Starting a war and promoting pollution vs offering more people health care. Which to pick? Hmm.

I've watched some live footage from the "tea party" event on tax day, and they announced Hannity and Fox had "decided it would be best" to pull out of the tea party, because they "feared backlash from the media" stemming from "fabricated lies started by Media Matters."

So....basically, Hannity and Fox have LIED to the ENTIRE crowd at the tea party, as well as to all the people who paid (and were demanding a refund after...) about WHY they decided to pull out of the event....

It would be nice if the tea party got mad when THEIR side lies...instead, they ignore 8 years of protest from the left and have decided that the "lost decade" never happened.....

The media has a strategy of taking all attention away from the perpetrators and those who are responsible for our catastrophic economic collapse and then refocusing the rage on Obama.

It would have been a wonderful tactic during the Bush years, as it would've been true, but now it just seems petty and pathetic, to have lived in a cave for 8 horrible years then decide to pop your head out when it suits you...

Wow, I haven't seen anything about this anywhere. This needs to be reported on because it totally undermines the supposed effort by Fox News to not be a supporter of or participate in the Tea Party. If they pulled the show because Hannity was part of the sales pitch, then announced to the crowd that they pulled the show because of lies from Media Matters, they have some explaining to do and the MSM needs to hold them accountable. Media Matters reported the FACT that Hannity's show was integrated with ticket prices. It was on the Tea Party's own flyers. This definitely needs to be brought to the light of day.

        Do you mean "you're"?

MMFA and the people writing comments here are criticizing Fox for yanking Hannity and then lying about why they did it. I don't recall anyone asking them to do that "since the beginning"? Can you show any sort of examples of that odd request?

Since the perceived endorsement of the tea party movement by FNC MMFA has been criticizing it and calling for it to end. They do it and MMFA still criticizes them. Their motivation is irrelevant the end result is what is important.
