        and we wonder why so many Americans are misinformed....This mean spirited corporate whore is on 600 radio stations every day.
        91 percent of our airwaves host idiots like this and we wonder why we are in such a mess.
        Bring back the Fairness Doctrine. Why don't we deserve honest accurate information on OUR airwaves. The right wing corporate media screams that we are taking away free speech, but I say, as a citizen, they are poisoning our airwaves and obstructing the truth.We deserve better.
        At least hold these menasces accountable for lying. inciting hatred and violence and ludicrous conspiracy theories.

          I called my Senator's office today asking them to consider bringing back the Fairness Doctrinne, in order to elevate the public discourse, and to better balance the Right's hate with something positive.

      What jury? The rig was an exploration rig . . . not all that unusual for a blowout to occur, especially when they are casing and cementing the hole which was what they were doing at the time of the blowout. They're saying that there was a failure in the blowout protection.

      It's obvious that Mr. Expert on Everything knows nothing about drilling.

      This is a heinous comment. What group of workers out in the middle of the ocean would blow up an oil rig that provided an income for them and their families? He has not thought about the men whose bodies may never be found, and what a blow it is to their families to lose a loved one. That he has this attitude toward this tragedy shows that he'll say anything for money. Despicable.

        One of my relatives is among the 11 presumed dead. I didn't know him well, but that side of the family is obviously devastated.

        It's a terrible tragedy and disgusting to hear someone talk about it this way.

      Well, Rush, apparently your jury was only out for about 17 minutes before you were blaming the explosion on 'environmental whackos'. So, you've decided to exploit the death of 11 men to further your political agenda by using fear of further 'incidents' to tar those with whom you disagree politically.

      Are you aware that this makes you a terrorist? And that you could be experiencing fun and exciting new words like 'rendition' and 'waterboard'?
