Rush's conspiracy theory: "Environmentalist whackos" may have blown up oil rig to "head off more oil drilling"

Where Blimpaugh comes from, such illogical thoughts don't raise a brow at all. So to his way of thinking, yes, environmentalists would indeed destroy the environment. Why? Because they want to save it of course!
The man is such an unmitigates ball of hatred and stupidity that it's astounding to me in trying to understand why exactly somebody hasn't found something to nail him on legally long ago.

Although Sheen's comments are based on visual cues of how a building falls and Rush's comments are purely fanciful and wishful thinking.

If he ramps up the cry of "reverse" racism now to fever pitch it will somehow prevent another person of color from inhabiting the White House anytime soon.

So an oil rig blew up. Right before Earth Day too. Then Rush indicates that some environmentalists probably blew that thing up in order to stop further drilling. Of course, using that 'logic', I can simply go a step further and claim that Rush, himself, hired people to blow up the rig, so that he could blame environmentalists for it, thus giving his listeners something to listen to (other than the sound of him swallowing food and pills that is).
Did Rush hire people to blow up the rig, just so he could blame environmentalists???? Now, I'm not accusing Rush of doing anything, I'm just asking a simple question. Goodness knows though, the "timing sure is convenient", to have something like this blow up just now, so that certain people can be blamed. I guess the jury is still out though......
Rush will soon find out that we were behind... just before EARTH DAY!
