You know, Mr. Wallace, there is an entire cable channel devoted to nothing but criticism of our President, and that's where you can find most of the morans comparing the Gulf Spill to Katrina. It just happens to be the very channel you are currently appearing on: FOX Propaganda.

There is also an entire network devoted to kissing Obama's butt. It's called MSNBC.

Yeah ..and the most Liberal shows( Maddow,Olberman,Schultz) regularly criticize the President.Chris Matthews often criticizes the President and Scarborough pretty much criticizes more than praises him!!!Fox never acknowleges anything positive by this President. To cover the good and the bad is called "kissing butt" when that is what fair and balanced really is.Kissing butt is what Fox did under GEORGE W. BUSH..they called anyone a traitor /unpatriotic for criticizing him!!
There is no equivalency to Fox by any network and most people know that. The Main Stream Media lets Fox get away with it so they don't get attacked by conservative media.Conservative media could put media matters out of business if they employed some ethics and stopped deliberately distributing, lies, distortions and misinformation.Everybody makes a few mistakes, but that is not what Fox et al is doing! They almost never acknowlege a mistake even when its thoroughly debunked!!!
They keep repeating rumors and wild conspiracy theories with teh"some say or Obama critics say and don't identify the sourcesDrudge Report,Breihart,Rush Limbaugh,Glenn Beck,Rush Limbaugh, elected Republicans plus not covering the other side of the issue...MSNBC usually covers both sides (Pat Buchanan,etc..) except for Olbermann who almost always has someone that agrees with his position but at least it's fact based and analytical..Fox uses incendiary rhetoric more that fact based new /analysis.

Great post! Not all, but many conservatives seem to have a blind side when it comes to the media. They see that most networks, newspapers, and rw blogs are conservative-heavy, yet they continue to claim that the media has a "liberal bias." No network consistently presents only one political view except Fuchs Noose. They also don't recognize that the term "liberal bias" was coined over 20 years ago by conservatives, packaged, and sold as a propaganda technique to convince other conservatives that the media was/is evil. The fact is that the media contains no "liberal bias. In fact, the exact opposite is true. If anyone says that censorship, propaganda, and brainwashing is no longer being used to influence politics and voting, the person must be living in an alternate universe.

Everyone please calm down. Mr. Wallace is only doing his job and reporting that such eminent critics such as Hannity, Limbaugh, Ailes, Murdoch have all read the Talking Points memo and are trying to raise the status of George Bush by blaming Pres. Obama for this.

When Napolitano made the statement the the states were involved from the being should show us that BObby Jindal is nothing but a little creep who is lying for his handlers.

Mr. Wallace, too bad for you. You will be ultimately remembered as a RAT (Reading As Told) for Fox.

Just once, I'd like to hear an Administration official respond to "some people say" or "some critics are saying" with "Who is saying that, Chris - other than Rush and pundits for this network -who has said that?" He'd be dumbfounded. Then go on to say, "Political posturing aside, this is a serious problem the Administration has been and continues to confront aggressively." Then proceed to explain what has been done.

tbone, I concur but would it would really matter to the Foxbots?

Just had a discussion with a Foxbot concerning Obamas' quote "we are no longer a Christian nation". When I forwarded the actually copy and YouTube where Obama mainly says not just or at least JUST a Christian Nation. But in true march step, this BOT will not go to or use a source unless it is from Hannity/Limbaugh or Fox. It is like sparingit a statue.

Fox news just wants Obama to fail at one thing, just so they can say one of two things, or both things. See Obama is a bad president, and see a black man cannot be president. Fox seem to have forgotten that way to many people remember just how bad bush really was. So bad in fact his wife is claim they were poisoned in 2008 at the G8 summit. Well seeing as everyone at the G8 so Bush as a joke and treated him like one, I can see how you would feel like you were poisoned.

Wallace: "You know some critics are saying this could be Obama's Katrina"

On the other hand, people who know what they're talking about wonder why Cheney's secret energy task force should get a pass.

The industry argued against the acoustic systems. A 2001 report from the International Association of Drilling Contractors said "significant doubts remain in regard to the ability of this type of system to provide a reliable emergency back-up control system during an actual well flowing incident."

By 2003, U.S. regulators decided remote-controlled safeguards needed more study. A report commissioned by the Minerals Management Service said "acoustic systems are not recommended because they tend to be very costly."

Is BP one of those International Companies that are to big to fail?
There should be a freeze on thier prices. As we are always told, when a company pays for thier errors, it is passed down to the consumer.

Ban BP from selling thier products at an inflated price until this is cleaned up.

Let me see if I understand this.

There was advanced warning that the levies around St. Louis could not hold. There was advanced warning of a hurricane and Katrina hit New Orleans and other areas. President Bush waited and then looked into the problem. George Bush got bad press for the way he handled the situation from all around the media.

An oil spill happens when an accident occurred. The coastguard, and other federal agencies are there trying to lessen the damage as a result of the spill. No one is homeless or dead. Obama gets bad press from Fox News.

Bush would not have gotten bad press if Katrina would not have happened. Obama would get bad press from Fox no matter.

      Yes, very similar.
