        Sorry Rush but one of my cousin's kids is in the Coast Guard and they KNOW first hand about the situation on that rig and your statement is off by quite a few days. Bur for you, a big anti-Obama whopper is just par for the course. I could dig out my counselling hat and try to figure your disgusting hate for Obama. I used to think it was all just plain old racism. Now I am certain it is much more serious than that. I think Rush, you are just insanely jealous of Obama because of his intellect, because of his win of the country's majority vote when you worked so hard for Republicans, so now you just try to badmouth Obama any chance you get and some times when you do not even have a chance. Of course he is a Democrat and that probably drives you nuts that he had that huge win in the last election after you touted the Republican. But in the end, Rush, mostly it seems like just silly ignorance on your part.

      What the hel1 is Obama supposed to do?? BP lied for a week about the severity. I love the hypocricy if this issue. The government didn't do enough. NOT ENOUGH REGULATION RUSH???? Seriously, listen to yourself. Contradictions on issues at every turn. YOU CAN'T HAVE IT BOTH WAYS!!!!!

        He's playing with MMFA and those who are paying attention to what he's lying about... He's pushing buttons. Same with Foxnation, Glenn Beck, and the others... They almost seem to want the opposition to listen and watch... They get the ad revenue online, and the ratings on TV. I can't watch or listen anymore. I'm becoming radicalized by their words.

      Obama didn't do anything for 12 days
      The oil rig exploded on April 20th - 12 days from that is May 2nd. Does Rush honestly expect people to believe that the Obama Administration did NOTHING until TWO DAYS AGO?????

      This is nothing more than Blimpy trying to get revenge for the beating Puddinhead George took over Katrina.

      This disaster is well suited for his propaganda, since it will likely affect the Gulf Coast, just as Katrina did. It is, therefore, easy to link the two events in the feeble minds of the Troglodytes.

      It's all bullsh*t, of course, but that's Blimpy's specialty.

      The cheif of the EPA didn't go to the Gulf Coast for over a week. Her schedule never included anything to do with the oil spill. Obama played golf. But they claimed they were on the ground there from day 1. Yeah the golf greens. By the way, where are all the enviornmental wackos? I don't see pictures of any of them helping with the clean up.

        Obama never claimed to "be on the ground" from day one you dolt. The environmental wackos are off shore trying to keep the majority of the oil from gettin near the land. Can you post a link to the director of the EPA's daily calander?

          Let us recall it was the Bush administration that gave the permit for these dolts to drill there. It was on his watch also, that their safety plane was filed. Then the Oil company bought a CHEAP emergency shut-off valve in order to save $500.000 bucks. Nice work BP. They also probably ruined off shore drilling for every one due to their negligance.

        A capable President delegates responsibility to people with the appropriate skillsets, bandwidth and connections.

        As does the head of the EPA.

        There's no evidence that they didn't do that.

        Presidents lead, and provide overall directions, and there's plenty of evidence that Obama did exactly that!

        In the first few days, the oil was burning off, and then once the rig collapsed, BP told the USA and the EPA that no oil was leaking.

        So, why exactly would the Head of the EPA go to the Gulf Coast given those facts?
