Yea - tell that to the arizona state legislature who have decided to target EVERYBODY rather than the businesses hiring illegals for less than minimum wage. I wouldnt call it slavery because ITS OFFENSIVE but i would call it indentured servitude to some extent.

This is really just another variation on the Obama-Joker formula... if you're a dumb hack like Beck, all you need to do to explain why you hate something is connect it to something scary/bad, and just leave it at that, even if the two couldn't have less to do with each other. And his even stupider followers embrace it as profundity.

beck s fractured logit is unable to discern the difference between the definition of slavery and illegal immigration. Go to school and learn some fancy english, a bit more than the oversimplified words only you can understand.

To say that immigration is like slavery is taking a part of the immigration issue and ignoring all other parts. Without a complete analysis in the context of the larger issue, Beck is getting attention with sensationalism. To do the same thing that he frequently does--no discussion of the larger issue, no discussion of context, no complete discussion of the issues--we could come to the conclusion that Beck's show, Since it mentions

"modern day slavery"

and with Beck's interpretation of the constitution, we could conclude (using Beck's logic and techniques) that "Beck endorses slavery." and "Beck wants to repeal the 13th amendment."

If Glenda suggests "illegal immigration is modern-day slavery" then he acknowledges [that] GlennBeck poops out of the hole in his head!

Woah, Glenn Beck, the greatest defender of capitalism the world has ever seen is saying that the government should regulate who companies are allowed to hire? Not only in that, he is saying that companies should pay a government regulated minimum pay and minimum benefits and insurance??

So - in the same show (in the only 2 clips MMFA provided), Glenn Beck is saying that we must change a law (anchor babies) that would make it harder for certain people to get jobs, and then is saying we need new laws to prevent certain people from getting jobs because they are selling their labor too cheap.

Is Beck's problem really with capitalism? or is it with "certain people?"
