      And I predict she won't because the GOP is the GOP. Obama could raise Washington, Jefferson and Franklin from the grave and appoint them and the rightards would still vote them all down, possibly bloviating about how this wasn't what TEH FOUNDURZ wanted while they did so.

        They're going to have a hard time NOT voting for her since they have already voted for her as Solicitor General just 14 months ago.

      Let's see, she was confirmed last time on a 61-31 vote. Now, the GOP will do everything it can to use this nomination fight as a means of fund-raising.

      Let's see, 'activist judge', 'legislating from the the bench'...

      Don't let the fact that they may have had positive things to say about her before fool you. Remember how long it took them to turn away from 'drill baby, drill' when that phrase became a potential political albatross?

        Of course the GOP will oppose her. We need a partisan fight to stir up the base for November.

        We need to ensure that the right-wing grass roots are as angry as possible.
