Yeah, wasn't the big line from the right about Obama, during the election, that he though America was defective because he wanted to change it? Now it's all so rotton, according to Beck, that the only way we can fix America is to burn it all down.

He hates everything! Sociopath Beck thinks the whole world is an elaborate complex designed specifically for his undoing! And he has so much to offer - he's convinced that every thought, or "thought" that pops into his head is a piece of genius!

It's those who question him who have the problem, because he is sure he's thought this thing through. He will not rest until he brings down the most powerful of his enemies, or crashes and burns in the attempt.

The worst of it will probably come to his devotees; there are similarities between he, Jim Jones, D Koresh, Manson and others. He is probably not as physically bold as they, and his field is broadcasting. But he is as capable as they were of dropping his followers like a stone when his own safety becomes more important, or, he may demand that his followers share his fate.

Sounds like the family affliction is catching up with Glenda quickly. Just do as your mother and brother did though, and check out by yourself nutbag. Don't take anyone with you. Don't be selfish.

      You hate life. We don't.

Perhaps I should have worded it better. My intention wasn't to hope or wish he commits suicide, but rather if he does decide to take that route, that he does it in a manner that doesn't harm anyone else, similar to his his family's untimely end, (although no one knows why the man with Beck's mother died too- very suspicious

Glenda seems to wish ill will on his political enemies, perhaps he should tone HIS rhetoric down. I am one post on a great but small site, he broadcasts his hate to millions. When people take others with them in a cowardly fashion because they hate life and others in it I believe his beloved Fox calls them homicide bombers. I can see Beck becoming one of those easily. He seems ready to crack. He displays all the signs of a complete, paranoid break down.

He does seem to wish ill on his political enemies, and he does broadcast hate and fear to millions. Beck reminds me of Lenny Bruce in his last days. Bruce was no longer outrageous, or entertaining. He was, like Beck, an angry, bitter, hate fueled person.

I will be very surprized if Beck's career, or life ends well.

This guy makes me want to hurl.

Beck moaning about Spitzer being hired by CNN is really rich since Fox's regular contributors include G. Gordon Liddy, Oliver North, Karl Rove, Chuck Colson, Mark Fuhrman . . . and they have Bill O'Reilly and Glenn Beck on their payroll.

This man is a piece of crap. He's quoting scripture, but he has absolutely NO CLUE what the hell he's talking about.

That's his art; repackaging. Whether he's reimagining the Founding Fathers to support his imbecilic theories, or painting his supposed enemies as some villain from his notion of history, he has no new ideas, and no sound basis. So he repackages scripture to lend him support. Doesn't care in the slightest what it might mean.

And that's sick in a number of ways...

Wow, that is a call for a violent revolution if I ever heard one. You can't burn everything to make it better. You can't destroy the Constitution to save it. If the Constitution is so good (it is) then you work with it, you don't tell people to prepare for a fire that destroys everything, because that will kill the Constitution. And you certainly can't claim to love the country or the Constitution and talk this way. I have, in my life, often been disappointed or angry with the government, but I never thought of preparing for its destruction, I always planned to wait for the next election to change the government. I work with the system to change it from within, not to overthrow it.

Elliot Spitzer didn't use taxpayer money to pay for prostitutes, yet he resigned . .

      Why is Spitzer corrupt?

Bildo used his power as a boss to sexually harrass an employee, he still works at faux . .

Bildo blamed his victim, as I recall . .

really glen? you're gonna keep up with this equating the great fire of rome with our country today?

      ok. well here we go......

ummmm Nero launched a massive relief effort that was funded in large part by his personal wealth........he allowed displaced people to stay in his own palace on the palantine hill.....he rebuilt most of the destroyed districts, including the sabura district (the caesarian ancestral area where caesar himself was born) except for the 5 or 6 districts that he used to build his domus aurea (and yeah that was a complete boneheaded move on his part, since it gave his enemies their ammunition to blame him)

president bush........hmmm he wasn't made aware of what was going on for days and was only made aware when his staff showed him a video tape. he didn't give up his salary or any of his wealth to help people. didn't invite displaced persons to stay in the white house, when they were being hearded into the superdome. and his rebuilding of the city is laughable.

so who was the worse of the two.............yeah thats bush.

But the Dubya administration did house the displaced. And as Mama Bush said of the Hurricane Katrina refugees housed in the Houston Astrodome, "they were underpriviledged anyway, so this is working out well for them."

He loves his country so much he wants it to burn down.

Deuteronomy, which Beck wants us all to go and read, has some pretty wild stuff in it:

"If brethren dwell together, and one of them die, and have no child, the wife of the dead shall not be married abroad unto one not of his kin; her husband's brother shall go in unto her, and take her to him to wife, and perform the duty of a husband's brother unto her." (25:5)

      Or this:

"He that is crushed or maimed in his privy parts shall not enter into the assembly of the LORD." (23:2)

As Glenn attempts to link biblical events to the chronology of his own messianic complex, some interesting parallels between scripture, the misunderstanding of history and current events begin to emerge.

The period of the Founders during the American Revolution is in Glenn's mind a period not unlike that of Old Testament prophets in which future events are foretold.

The period known by Evangelicals as "The Last Days" is one that is diligently sought by those who believe that the destruction and devastation of a corrupt, sinfulness and socialist society will be God's just retribution. The loss of political power on the right only helps to fuel the belief in the coming fire that Glenn refers to here.

Aside from Beck's repeated attempts to directly link his own cooked-up nonsense with the inspired Word of God, Beck understands that his maligned view of the world strongly appeals to the "Christian" Right because of it's pronounced revelatory origin and it's parallels to the book of Revelation.

Many professed Christians strongly identify with Beck's claim to "revealed truths."
His "plan" to be revealed August 28 of this year plays into the
"need and feed" nature of Beck's relationship with many of his followers.

In this particular Beck coda where Glenn warns of the coming blaze, Beck's reference to "The Good News" is, of course, an attempt to associate his remarks with the message of the four Gospels in the New Testament.

Glenn Beck made something like $32 million last year. So with that taken care of, what rises to the top of Beck's hierarchy of needs?

Why, the purification of our sinful society... featuring the excitement of FLAMES! Bring some weenies and marshmallows! And hey, if it all burns down, don't worry about it... Beck's gonna be all right.
