This is kind of a dog and pony show, though. Periodically, Fox has to have some of its commentators disagree with each other, so they can say they're "fair and balanced." It lets them deny that there's a party line and set of talking points at work there.

"Okay, everyone have their talking points? Good! Now, Bill and Britt, you have to play 'devil's advocate' and say that Palin's conspiracy theory of The President and BP isn't 'fair', so the sheeple will be able to point to your 'disagreement' - don't whine, guys, it's one day only - as proof we are Fair And Balanced".

Considering Bible Spice has been on the national scene for a couple of years now, with an amazing history of lying and generally being wrong about everything, and Fox has treated her as a serious political entity for that entire time, they probably figure one little criticism isn't going to hurt.

People who take Palin seriously do so with a religious fervor. They may be angry at Fox, or Hume and BilldO, for a few hours, but they'll forget all about this as soon as The Frozen One gives them a little wing and screeches out some happy talk.

"Bill, what are you doin' with this thing called "logic"? That's no company value!" - possible future statement by Roger Ailes
Bill, you better watch out. If you keep saying too many truthful things, they'll fire you.

Even if Obama were cozy with BP what would be the advantage for either of them to "take so dog gone long" to fix it? Obviously the lesson is that no one has a good method for off shore drilling and people like Simple Sarah talked us into this mess.

I dont want to hear that crap that the media ONLY blamed bush - they layed most of the blame on bush because he was probably the biggest f--k up of anybody. And not JUST in the immediate aftermath and not just for one reason - he did numerous things wrong and later, completely ignored the city altogether. But people blamed everyone - the mayor, the governor, the senators, the army corps of engineers and the list goes on and on and on. Bush got what he deserved which was most of the blame BUT he did not get all of it and nagin was hammered early and often for his failures.

As for asking where the media is now when it comes to excoriating obama for the now reckless disregard for the spill, why dont these guys look to the very same people who crucified bush for good reason? MSNBC. They dont think that netwrok is laying down the blame on obamas feet? Obviously, they dont watch rachel maddow or ed schultz or keith olbermann or any one else in the "liberal" media. They had some pretty choice words directed at obama ALL of last week and it will continue.

Thats the difference between a propaganda network like fox that bowed down at bush's feet and defended him like he was their child AND a real news network that leans left in the evening programs. This is the ideal example of the difference between MSNBC and FOX, the obama admin doesnt own MSNBC programming the way bush clearly owned fox - it might as well have been state sponsored propaganda for eight years. I think bush actually would have been MORE honest than faux.

There seems to be a pattern these days with ALOT of Republicans taking to the airwaves to discuss in great detail the 'what-ifs' on ANY issue with Pres. Obama, his Admin. and Dems. These Republicans can NEVER, EVER discuss how their own principles would apply to these same issues 'cause the Republican Way would NEVER, EVER work locally or nationally i.e. Dr. Rand Paul. So, Palin just played the game the way it's played by Republicans.

      1) Create a narrative in a 'what-if' way; 2) Repeat the names of Pres. Obama and MSM over and over; and 3) End with a solid commitment with Republicans NEVER, EVER doing these 'what-ifs'. Results from the Interview: Palin said nothing, MSM loops her attacks, and the rest of Republicans join in on her bandwagon. Yeap, this works everytime, LOL.
