Just because Fox Propaganda doesn't carry his addresses to the public, Rush, doesn't mean that he doesn't give press conferences. That is a great big whopping lie you just told. By the way, the much vaunted private sector has taken over a month to solve a problem they claimed they already had the answer for, when they begged and pleaded to be allowed to drill off our coast. Yes, OUR coast. Funny how quickly the oil stopped being BP's and started being ours, isn't it? Funny how quickly everyone wanted the corrupt, useless, inept, regulation-ridden, feckless government to step in and fix this problem after the private sector totally forked it up, isn't it? Say, how much oil stock do you own? In the interests of full disclosure, of course.

If Rush loved America, he would have personally sewn together 10-15 wetsuits, suited up and plugged the leak with his porcine ass.

Instead, he floats conspiracy theories between devouring whole hams.

Yes Rush, bad mouth a company that caused the leak by jerry rigging the blow out preventer, to stop the leak. Rush the leak should never have happened, oil companies should never drill out in the ocean. BP has a horrible safety record and for this latest one should have criminal changes against them.

Rush can't keep up with his lies. First he rags on how he feels the president has a huge ego that won't allow him to not be overexposed. Then he talks about how the press doesn't ask him hard questions at press conferences. Now he wants to deny that the president has held press conferences even after he himself took part in the right wing bashing of the presidents use of a teleprompter at press conferences. Something is seriously off about Rush and I believe it may have something to do with his frequent vacations. This is what $40 million get you people. A cushy job where you can lie about anything from the comfort of your home and never have to answer for any of it. All while taking repeated vacations that dwarf the yearly vacation time of any of the everyday americans you claim to relate to.

You realize that Rush Limbaugh is a "humorist." In other words, he can outright lie, make racist comments, misinterpret or twist the truth, just invent sh*t, and/or ignore some or all facts at any time without ever being held accountable.

Republicans often resort to this default "humorist" defense when one of their own steps so far over the line that the entire country gasps in embarrassment. They immediately shift blame to the audience, accusing it of being thin-skinned and "humorless."

Of course none of this is at all "humorous." Normal people would more likely substitute "dilusional", "boorish", or "dips*it" for "humorist."

Yea Im sure obama designed this entire plan to force BP to only close up the leak before his press conference. I wish presidents could just tool around reckless corporations like puppets. That would be a nice little change of pace instead of the other way around for once. I agree about obama taking credit though - i dont want to hear him say we did it or anything like that. Obama has proven he simply does not have the spine to stand up to corporate disasters like BP and goldman - an actual progressive president would not have taken the working together, coddling approach that we just witnessed. Ive said it before and ill say it again, obama isn;t even in the same atmosphere as Roosevelt who would have crucified BP - a foreign company destroying our entire gulf coast. BP has destroyed this country far more than any terrorist ever has - and they should be treated as such. This is beyond catastrophic - calling this a national disaster doesnt do it justice. I want to see criminal charges NOW Mr Holder.

The thing is this, he's a centrist. And a bigger centrist you will never find. As much as everyone wishes he was a progressive, sadly he isn't. He is a middle of the road politician (for very good reason) and he must continue to play it that way. He should get tough on some issues though. I agree that he hasn't been progressive enough. But like I said before, he's a centrist. That's how he ran the majority of his campaign. So I'm not suprised with his governance thus far.

And by the way guys, ken salazar seems like an absolute joke to me - the more i learn about salazar, the more i wish beck had tried to run him out of the administration because in that case, beck would be unknowingly doing the rest of us a favor. He made some arbitrary decision that the endangered species act should not have the ability to tackle anything regarding global warming's threat to polar bears which was originally a bullsh1t bush admin line. Most of the major environmental groups do not trust salazar and many spoke out against the nomination.

Then, ed shultz's guest mentioned yesterday that in 2006, Salazar voted to end protections that limit offshore oil drilling in Florida's Gulf Coast. In 2007, Salazar was one of only a handful of Democrats to vote against a bill that would require the United States Army Corps of Engineers to consider global warming when planning water projects. YES - our current secretary of the interior voted to end the protections of the gulf that eventually led to this catastrophe. And he is no doubt still in favor of drilling off our shores. And this is supposed to be a democrat.

No, you are "glad" you have another excuse to criticize the President, whether it is valid or not.
Republicans' do nothing but criticize leadership is tailor-made for the base of their Party, which is nothing but a bunch of boneheaded, misguided fools, who will blindly follow their leaders off a cliff.
