maybe it has something to do with the 1 trillion dollar wars and the 1 trillion dollars a year in "defense spending" which isnt even part of the war spending. That is at the very least 11 trillion dollars over the last ten years - of course, these jokes dont mention that.

It's funny how that bloke Varney mentions that 'debt' is tied with 'terrorism' as being tied as most important issues according to a Gallup poll. For 8 years under Bush, the only thing we ever heard was how "terrorism" was the only important issue. Even though we knew the "war on terror" would put this country into the hole economically. Obama still can't be blamed for anything; Bush caused this problem.

the media ignored the debt for 8 years. bush got a 500 BILLION dollar surplus, and turned it into a 1 and 1/2 TRILLION dollar deficit. obama (unlike bush) raised the deficit by including both wars in the budget. this is bush's deficit.

Hannity isn't a conservative. He's a very highly paid commentator on a cable opinion network. He has said that he would say anything for the right amount of money.

Hannity and Drudge do have a lot in common, though. Both of them have only high school educations.

They may be conservatives, but they are known serial liars. What they are peddling is misinformation - conservative . And since MMFA's mission is to highlight conservative misinformation, it's mentioned here.

This site used to run Olbermann WPIW stuff. So what?
Keitl Olbermann also highlights conservative misinformation in his WPIW segment. I don't think MMFA highlights his WPIW stuff as much because the site gets filled every day by the lies put forth by people people like Beck, Limbaugh, and Hannity.

So because Hannity says "my friend Matt Drudge" it gets a mention here?

That's weak. It's so weak you don't even believe it.

I don't even like Hannity but go after him for something real. Good grief.

hannity now says the deficit has quadrupled?!? for a man that never mentioned the deficit during the bush years, where the deficit skyrocketed to 1 and 1/2 trillion. the thing is, bush inherited a SURPLUS of 400 Billion, so Obama's not even close to bush. Simply put, hannity is LYING! all Obama and the democrats need to do is tell the truth, and they'll probably stay in power. republicans have to lie to make gains.
