Liz Cheney pushes false attack that Obama has refused foreign assistance in Gulf oil cleanup

Oh, hey, look, Liz Cheney is lying again. Also, did you see that great subject change?

Liz - *obvious and insulting eyeroll* Well, (blah blah oil spill)

I'd expect nothing less from a Cheney.

Notice how quickly that the guy switches to something else when Cheney is done lying. One would almost swear that he was instructed to do so, to prevent anybody from either refuting her points with logic or evidence to the contrary.

Though to be honest, I don't know why they bother. She demonstrated her caring for facts on that one panel she did where the other person called her out on her lie and she just sat there denying it. Then when the other panelist (I forget who it was precisely) said that she was glad that Politifact would be checking over the conversations, Cheney just didn't give a damn.

She knows she lies. She knows she's a horrible person. She just doesn't care, because whether or not she's a truly terrible person who lies all the time has no bearing on her life, except to make her more influential and powerful with the right-wing nutters around the nation.

I can't even watch this woman. She just makes me sick to my stomach with her nastiness and outright disregard for the truth. She is a pit viper, nothing more.
