It's such a tried and true talking point because it doesn't have to be based on facts or the truth. How can you prove Obama doesn't want this country to fail? Like you can actually believe the things he says or his actions on trying to get this country out of the slump Bush drove us into.

Facts are vegetables; they may not always be pleasant but they are good for you. Even if America is "failing" or not, it's not because the President has made bad, misguided decisions; he HAS to be ACTIVELY EVIL and trying to bring the whole country down. They make these claims without ever actually hazarding a guess at WHY he apparently wants to destroy the country.
