It didn't matter to the apostle Paul, either (see 1 Corinthians 7:1).

Well for what we've seen, Kagan hasn't talked about family values, so it doesn't have the same weight.

"Kagan the Pagan" - How come Savage never makes fun of Anthony Weiner's name?

A little sad that a guy, who changed his name from Weiner, would attempt to score some cheap points by making fun of someones name.

Kagan doesn't fit the mold conservatives want in a policy shaping woman: A pretty airhead, fanatical religious views, wears her ignorance with pride, feels shame for nothing, panders to the lowest common denominator, does the bidding of corporate interests without a second thought, and quits public service the moment better financial opportunities are thrown at her.

THAT is what makes a real woman in conservative world.

Or, one in a red leather jacket with 80s hair and makeup who thinks that Ronald Reagan attended Eureka College in California.

            LOL!!!

Oh man, that was my favorite Palin flub of the month. That made for possibly the best worlds worst persons on countdown for a long time.

Did he REALLY just say that those of us who are not married and without children are not as good as those that are? And that matters how? Our understanding as the law changes how? Wait ... wouldn't being married and having children perhaps influence how she votes just as much as being single without children? Why did Al Bundy just come to mind?

If she were a man, and I were a betting person, I'd bet Savage would NEVER had said such a thing.

      What an idiot!! Sigh ...

Oh, and as a pagan, Kagan the Pagan has a nice ring to it. That's about the best thing I've heard out of his mouth ever.

He really deserved that laudatory profile in The New Yorker. Thanks again, Kelefa Sanneh.

Reading all the info on Kagan on this site, one would think that MMFA found Kagan perfect in every way.
Surely there is someone in here who finds a flaw?

Nope, because we visit other web sites to validate what MM reports. We also click on links to discover exactly what Ms. Kagan's positions were/are on the issues.

The main flaw in your statement is that you have never once demonstrated that you think at all.

Another right-winger who hasn't bothered to read Media Matters' "About us" section. MMfA is not going to endorse Kagan. What they are going to do is point out conservative misinformation. The focus of MMfA is (as the name of the website indicates) the media. I'm sure if Savage and others of his ilk bothered to tell the truth or not make ignorant statements like this MMfA would have much less on the Kagan hearings.

This "one" sounds like a dumbass. If One would stop sticking his thumb up his ass and writing "Overton Window" slash for two seconds, maybe One would realize that not approving of this idiot's blatant misogyny is different from "finding Kagan perfect in every way". Go f--k oneself.

Although he doesn't work for MMfA, NiceguyEddie wrote a few posts in May that were critical of her.

...but I'm not sure you're interested in facts.

The only flaw I ever find in any S.Ct. nominee is that nominee's inability to separate political ideology from the duty of being a Justice on the S.Ct. It has no place on the court.

Michael Savage's last name is not just a last name, it is a description of its owner. Savage the savage--makes as much sense as what he said.

Because conservatives and republicans have such an excellent track record on marriage right? Cheating and divorces happen every day for them.

Did Savage care this much when Justice Souter was nominated? He wasn't married either.
